5 starsWe have poured with SRM since we started 5 years ago. Can't say enough about these guys. Even though we are a smaller customer only 5,000 yards per year or so they still treat us like we are important. I had concrete brought to my home in Whitwell, Tn on July 13, 2023 for 2 side walks. It looked great to begin with and now I have orange spots all over it. It looks like rust and to be honest, it's embarrassing to tell anyone that it's only be there 2 months today. I contacted the local office and was told that concrete was made from rock and minerals and there's no control over the color. I then contacted the main office and was assured that she would stay in communication with me. I heard from her one time and i have left other messages with no response. I told them I don't want any refund. I wanted the sidewalk that I paid good money for. I guess they have cut off communication with me. I'm very disappointed in this company and at the least I feel someone should have come and looked at it. I really wonder if any of these employees would want an orange spotted sidewalk at their home.

Our team visited the property 9/20/23. They concluded that the contractor used an interior concrete sealer on exterior finished concrete. This caused the discoloration of the concrete.Review fromJustin B

SRM concrete deliver concrete to my home in Eaton Colorado they drove a 70,000 lbs truck on my property on my bridge without permission from Me homeowner destroyed my bridge and refused to give me there insurance information as I asked atleast 12 different times. The estimated amount of damages are $90,000 and they refuse to do anything about it a matter of fact they told me they were going to send me a $15,000 bill for there truck. I might add no waiver was given to me to sign until after the damages happened and I did not sign it however they tried pressuring me to do so buy I refused.Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, LLC

SRM Concrete is not liable for the accident or any damages to the property. Our operator was led onto the property and onto the bridge by the contractor, who we believe was acting on behalf of the property owner. We have video record of this interaction. It is the responsibility of the property owner, the contractor, and/or their agents to notify our operator of any potential hazards on the property and direct the vehicle accordingly.Review fromKeith K

SRC concrete damage homeowners property and refuses to provide there insurance information $100,000 in damage to there property and SRM is sending homeowners a bill for there truck and doing nothing for homeowners. When operating a 70,000 lbs truck one might think there would be rules to operating a truck at the weight and common sense. I can't in good conscience leave a good review. This company delivered concrete to my home 4/13/2023. The drum on the truck didn't turn 95% off the time it was here. The concrete came out the chute extremely thick and was hardening within minutes of application. I spoke with someone names Joe I believe and was told that they did everything on their part and it was the fault of my inexperienced contractor (who had over 20 years experience by the way). They won't do anything to rectify the problem. They dumped concrete in my yard too. Just a horrific experience.Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, LLC

Hands down the worst experience I have had with a company. Called for a price for concrete, delivered the next day but with a price jump. Called to talk with Tom to ask why. As soon as I said my name he starting being a jerk saying I called him 6 times the previous day which I never called him the day before my son did on a different number. And apparently when you call around for prices they all send the call to this guy which he could have said that when my son was calling around for quotes. I then asked him why the price was more and he said he quoted at that price which I said no you told my son this price because he was on speaker and I also heard the cheaper price. He also stated that he had a recording of the conversation so he could go back and tell me what was said, and I asked him to do that. Because 2 and 3 sound very different. So he called back still being a jerk and says the recording says the higher price and how do I prove he is not lying as he would not play them for me.Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, LLC

We have reached out to this customer to inquire more about this incident since no members of our sales team remember having any interactions like this. Additionally, all of our prices are set and are non-negotiable, therefore a situation like the one outlined above would not occur. We are currently awaiting a response from the customer.
