    BUSINESS DOUBLE BOOKED AND CUT MY RENTAL SHORT WITHOUT NOTICE AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND FOR TIME NOT UTILIZED AND RUINING MY DAUTHER'S PARTY.

    Do to the malicious attack on our business,  my husband and myself.   I let it sit for a few days but when you pride yourself on being good people.  There is always gonna be one that you can’t please.   I didn’t wanna stoop to the level as she has but when people keep sending you screenshots of everything that is being said about you.  It’s time to tell the truth because there is always 2 sides to a story and I have all the proof.  We are very accommodating to everyone or we try our best to be.   We were contacted about the pool rental June first.   She told us she wanted 12-5.   Her party was 1-4.  She wanted an hour to set up and an hour to clean up.   We explained since we typically have multiple parties we do a half hour before and afterwards if time allowed. She agreed to pay for the hour set up.    The message the day before explaining she couldn’t do an hour but she had to be out by 430 we would even help her clean up if needed.  She understood and by the message she said ok thanks.    There was no communication about someone coming at 1030 to set up balloons on the day of, so as our private residence that we have dogs and kids we had no idea anyone was coming.   There were 2 dogs out but I immediately called them in and my husband came up.   To which the ladies told him they were told they had to be done and out by noon.  Even though we explained we had no idea she was coming and the party wasn’t until 1.   So if anything she occupied our pool from 1049-417 when she left.   Our cameras all have time stamps on everything.   She arrived at 1158.   Our dogs were never left out at all.  We always explain to anyone that comes.  We have 5 large dogs we do not let them out but if there for some reason we needed to they are put out on the side yard and immediately are put back in.   We would let them know ahead of time so they wouldn’t be outside the gates.  Our dogs are very well trained.  They don’t even head to the pool at all with all the noise.   We are extremely responsible with our dogs.  We have 4 shepherds and an English mastiff.  If she saw them she would be able to tell that.  I went out at 403 to help them if they needed anything.   I found our gymnastic mat that’s for the slide was thrown in the pool and I kindly asked why and who put this in the pool?  It’s foam so it sucked up the water.  She stated you cut my party short who cares.  At that time I called my husband up because I had no idea what she was talking about. Everybody had left.  There was maybe one other car in the driveway but was leaving.  Brian was explaining to her and pulled out his phone to show her all the messages that were sent back and forth.   All she kept saying was you shorted me an hour but couldn’t explain where the hour was she was shorted.   Brian even stated if you think we cheated you an hour we will refund you that hour.   She said she didn’t want refunded.   You just cheated her out the time Before her leaving she told Brian she was just stressed she moved her son into college and her husband just died.  Brian’s response was sorry to hear about your husband and she got in the car and left.   I at this point didn’t even know who she was.   Until he said the last name that’s when I said I knew her husband and also knew his sisters.    That’s when I realized it was back in 2021.   We were just baffled after the fact why would she bring that up? Was it to make an excuse for her behavior we have no idea.    There was no yelling not even a voiced raised by either of them.    At 5 she sent the threatening message she was as gonna basically ruin our business.  You can read the message to get a better understanding.    After she blocked me from the business I sent her a personal message from my account because I would never want anyone to feel as though I hurt someone.     I didn’t message her in anyway throwing it in her face because honestly I don’t care how mean of a person you are who would do that?   I just couldn’t get passed how irrational she was acting.   Bottom line is she paid for 4 hours and she was here for 4 hours.    Technically she took over the pool an hour and half before the party due to having balloons done we had no idea about.   Communication is key.   After having to defend ourselves we have had numerous people reach out to tell us this is very common for her.  She threatens court all the time to push her weight around.  She thinks by her position at the borough she will bully people into whatever she wants. She was going to older post that had anything to do with our page and copy and pasting the same message.  She was going on other business pages that we have been tagged on and doing the same thing.  We are very respected in this area as she would know because she was here last year.  We have a huge following that does allow everyone to see what kind of business owners we are.  I hope this helps clear things up for you to understand the situation we are in.   Thank you

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    I am not happy with the result. The owner's wife can state all the false drama that happened when the facts speak for themselves. They do not charge people a half hour before or after for clean up and set up, therefore, I am owed $100. They double booked, cut an hour off my party, and discriminated against me by making me pay the extra $100 only to have time cut off.
