    We had gutter and shingle repair performed by the company in July 2023. We paid for the job in full and in less than a year we have issues from them installing and doing their job improperly. They acknowledged it was a "poor judgment call" on an employee and won't fix it unless we pay the same amount as originally paid when they were supposed to fix it and do it correctly the first time. Because of this issue of them improperly installing our gutter, we now have to pay for our window company to come out and do repairs on the window from the gutters being done wrong. All we are asking is the company to correct their error without expecting us to pay as much as we did the first time, which wasn't done correctly. I explained this do them and now they won't return calls or emails.

    I made contact and met with the homeowner. We have an action plan in place. When action plan is complete, approx. a week, the homeowner stated the will remove the complaint.

    date of transaction: Quote was sent out June 3rd, 2022. June 30th, 2022, the project was not started until the middle of July, 2022. transaction balance: $6,000 A replacement of out flat roof was supposed to be performed due to a leak coming into our living room. The work was done, but under a year later the leak has returned in the same spot that was supposed to be repaired/replaced. We had another company come out for a quote on our main roof and they checked out the flat roof as well, and the repair was done poorly or not at all. That company has pictures and I have pictures of the roof before the work was done. Nature of dispute: The replacement work that was supposed to be done was not done in a satisfactory manner, there is no reason that the roof should be leaking under a year later. This is causing damage to the inside of our home at this point. Tried to resolve problem: I have tried to email our main contact for the project, those emails have bounced back. I have put in contact forms via the company website, with no response. Account number/invoice number: **** - this is the only number I received during the whole process.

    My name is Joseph H******* owner of Gotcha Covered Contracting. GCC was contracted to install new EPDM rubber on a flat section of her home. We completed the job and was paid. We never received a call or an email fro the homeowner about an issue. She states she called and emailed someone with no response. Unfortunately she was probably trying to reach out to a sales rep that is no longer with the company.  However we have sent the homeowner many emails from our back office with different emails and phone numbers.  Our website is on the BBB website which has our main phone number. We are reaching out to the customer to resolve her issues and hopefully she will remove this complaint.
