Referral bonus is actually not a gift card as they promote. Its a website you have to sign up on to earn points. My landlord referred me, we both expected a gift card, 7 months later I learn it was a bait switch ploy.

I honestly dont understand how this company does not already have a law suit against them. All they care about is getting their money, they lie, and they NEVER have the customers best interests in mind. I hope they actually do record all their phone conversations because that would be great ammo for a lawyer. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use first commonwealth bank for anything unless you want a headache and to lose money. Oh and if you ever call customer service and get *****, immediately ask for somebody else.

I have a car loan with this bank, and tried to send my payment thru my bank. The customer service representative gave me the WRONG information. Luckily my personal banker caught it and didnt send my payment to the wrong bank. Smh. They act like they're at home laying on the couch saying anything that comes to mind.

THEY ARE VERY INCONSIDERATE!! MY CAR WAS STOLEN 3 TIMES AND ALL THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT WAS GETTING CAR PAYMENTS PAID. MY CAR WAS GONE FOR 3 MONTHS AND THEY WOULD HARRASS ME AND MY HUSBAND AND BE REALLY MEAN ABOUT COLLECTING. NOT ONCE DID THEY OFFER TO TACK THE PAYMENTS ON THE END OR DEFER (WELL I ASKED ABOUT DEFERMENT AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME OVER $200 FOR A FEE) THE THIRD TIME MY CAR WAS STOLEN IT WAS TOTALLED AND I AM WAITING ON THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO FINALIZE EVERYTHING BECAUSE I HAVE GAP INSURANCE THAT WILL PAY THE BALANCE OFF BUT ****** SAYS TO ME THAT I AM STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOAN. I AM SO UPSET!! WHERE IS THE EMPATHY!!!??? DEF WILL NOT USE THEM WHEN I AM GETTING A NEW CAR LOAN!!

We've had a car loan with FCB since March of 2020 and so far so good. Everytime I call them they are very courteous, get me to the right department and answer my questions. We are thinking about going with them for a home equity loan but after reading all of the previous reviews we are very hesitant.

If I could do no stars I would. Whatever you do......DO NOT DO A LOAN!!!!! I have been with them since they bought out my bank and they are horrible. It is not my fault that I had an agreement with the last bank, and they can't honor that. I have tried to work with them, but they say it is still my fault when I had an agreement. Not only that I signed papers twice because they gave me the wrong ones to have money move automictically and yet it still never was done correctly. They shouldn't be a bank at this point, I have had nothing but problems with them and I have only had them a few months. They are keeping my money and won't give it back because they claim I cancelled something. Again, maybe they should answer their phone or maybe answer the emails I have been send them. DON'T GO TO THIS BANK, unless you like dealing with nothing but issues.

I've been with first Commonwealth since they bought out ************** So I've been with them for about 32 years if you count being with People's. A lot of their policies have changed they used to be very easy to work with, but now everything is on the hard side. They're blaming this on security and to prevent fraud activity? I own a business and when I write a check unless that person has an account at first Commonwealth they can't cash it even though the money's there? The other problem they're having is finding employees, let alone competent employees and wait times are now ridiculous. I stayed with them because the branch manager is a personal friend of mine she's great and bends over backwards for me. Hopefully these new policies will smooth out eventually be replaced or get ironed out. I met with one of their investment people and just wanted to kick her out some ideas but she never got back to me? I'm meeting them Monday I just sold one of my businesses and have a check of approximately $500,000 to deposit, I told them I wanted a good interest rate or it wouldn't stay there? I'll meet with the branch manager because she's the only one that seems to get anything done and have the answers. I've always been a loyal customer and have paid off a few million dollars with them so I'm not going to give up that easily. ********

In March, 2023 I opened a certificate of deposit with First Commonwealth Bank for $10,500. At the beginning of April the CD was funded. The next day, the CD was improperly funded again. First Commonwealth is now in possession of $21,000, breaching the amount agreed upon in the CD.I called First Commonwealth and was informed that my money would be returned within 24 hours. When the money was not returned within 24 hours I called again and was informed that these transactions actually take up to 3 business days. After losing access to $10,500 of my own money, calling on my own accord, being told incorrect information, and calling again on my own accord, I have decided not to do business with this bank again. Mistakes happen, but I have bills to pay. Please prevent this issue from happening to other people.

After decades of my family's loyalty, I sincerely was screwed over by this bank. The bank allowed an over $400 charge to go out that was obviously suspicious and never notified me. And charged over draft fee of 35$. At the same time I had a bill I had scheduled come out. But still noone notified me. I found this on my own the next day. After hours on the phone with corporate, I got the acct frozen and filed a fraudulent discrepancy case. Aftwards, I got the info and personally called the company that screwed me, Medcare. After ***** answered, i personally went to ************** and discussed this over $400 charge with the medcare company director. This was never supposed to happen by either medcare nor the bank. Someone is trying to scam customers here. I was told I would recieve a refund, but haven't seen it nor heard from anyone for a week. In the meantime, First commonwealth continues to charge fees to my frozen account. Ridiculous. Still not resolved.

This bank is the worst bank to get a loan through. Missed a payment by a couple of days and now I have to go out of my way since they can not process it over the phone. The customer service sucks and they threatened to repo my car after ONE missed payment. Told me how I will ruin my credit. These people are awful. So basically have to make three payments in the month of December. Merry Christmas. I hope you hate your job.
