    Business Response

    Date: 08/15/2023

On June 6th, our installer went to begin project.  Parts of the home in which he needed to do work were covered in dog feces and fleas.  HO was asked to clean this up but failed to do so.  Installer was unable to continue work due to unsanitary conditions. He said he didn't feel safe in the environment and was concerned for the children living in the home. We reached out to JEM (from whom we received the project) and we were told to stop all work immediately until the participants SC could reach out and get the unsanitary conditions addressed. As of 6/7/23, PA Health and Wellness put a hold on the project.  We were not allowed back into the home until the hold was lifted. We were not permitted to begin work again until June 19th. The participant's service coordinator was involved and kept participant updated.
