This account wasn't in .y name but clarion county was supposed to pay some how they put it in my name and want me to pay it now I'm getting now I'm getting bad letters from a debt collector and it wasn't my billBusiness Response

This concern was brought to my attention yesterday afternoon. Upon investigation I discovered that the Clarion County Youth and ***************** had covered a previous pest concern for this particular customer. Upon entry of this more recent pest concern, the customer (**** ******) was mistakenly set up with their own account. Immediate action has been taken to remove the account from the collections status and communication is being made with Clarion County Youth and ***************** to have the open invoices addressed.Initial Complaint

I hired Erlich’s services after having the Rodent problem for sometimes, initially there were two gentlemen that showed up to inspect the place and they placed a few traps and the thing that make the Rodents to repel and die from, the problem got a little better and they said that they will be back after a month, meanwhile they pitched un a punch of products which one was to get the place cleaned by them professionally and second was a diagram that they made where they would put some stuff around the house so the rodents won’t be able to come in. We did the cleaning ourself and waited for next appointment but no one came till we had to call again and they came couple weeks later and we talk about blockage and traps that they would put and that should be end of problem and I scheduled that service, at this time the salesman whose name was Kevin I believe and ask so asked me to buy a monthly warranty that will entitle us to call them once a month to check out the thanks it was like $55 a month, well I said since I m paying $1000 plus for the other service, I don’t believe that other monthly thing is necessary, anyhow I wasn’t home when they came to do this service and I was thinking that since it is a over $1000 they will be covering all hole and be a few hour job but myself told me later that they only put a tape in a few spots and were done in 20-25 minutes. As the problem wasn’t solved we called them back and again the gentleman Kevin came in and looked around and said that he will send service people and try to sell the monthly warranty once again. I respectfully decline because I just spent a $1000 and didn’t had anymore to but now. Finally no one showed and we called Kevin and he said to call the customer service line and ask them to send someone, another gentleman come in for a few mins and put a few more tapes and left. Now the problem is unresolved and I don’t them to keep coming and so nothing about situation. The problem is still there and will get worst.Business Response

I am unsure, from the email what *** ****** is looking to satisfy him. He has a one year warranty with his exclusion service so will be more than willing to come out and try and find where the mice are entering his home. I know there was a lot of clutter in the home preventing us from accessing some areas and there is an area under the front porch that we cannot access. I would be willing to refund him $250 or come out and help solve the issue with where the rodents are entering the home. I hope that we can come to a conclusion that satisfies ** ******.

11/04/2022 $215.73 Ehrlich pest control took out this money from our credit card with out our authorzation called on 11/22/2022 first time; called 11/28/2022 second time; called 12/17/2022 third time; called 12/20/2022 fourth time; called 1/2/2023 fifth time; called 1/9/2023 sixth time. asked for the money to be put back on the credit card they said ok each time the 5th time i called they said it was mailed; i called today and they said they were not going to mail it till the end of the month. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The reason there is no open balance is because I paid it per the letter I submitted. Clearly this company has no regard for clients. I was contacted by one person from the local area who discussed the signatures and admitted that they were clearly signed by the technician. He also said someone from billing would be contacting me, but thus far they haven’t. I’m not surprised. Honestly where do you go with this now? What resolution could possibly be offered? Truthfully I’d much prefer my money back that I felt forced to pay that I did so to protect my credit. I have not received the full services paid for, the best solution, refund my money, do NOT send me to collections, and let me move on to a company who will not act in such a terrible way.

We spoke to client and agreed to refund 50% of the service cost - $200.51 We also agreed to honor the remainder of the agreement until March 31st 2023. The refund has been prossesed and can take up to 6 weeks.Customer Answer

I used Ehrlich (which I later realized is just one subsidiary of a larger pest control corporation that renames itself in various states) for only a few months. The pest control expert who serviced my home was wonderful, and extremely helpful. The service also helped keep away bugs from the local woods. However, after I moved and cancelled the policy, the company continued to bill me. I was in touch via email several times with a company representative, who continues to send me monthly bill statements no matter how many times I forward emails that verify my account is closed, and no matter how explicitly I state that I closed this account. I paid off the account before closing, and yet now I am receiving emails that my account is delinquent. The billing and customer service for this company is truly bad. As a prior customer, I'm really frustrated that I cannot get Ehrlich to stop trying to collect money for services I am not receiving nor subscribed to receive. I want Ehrlich to remove my contact information from their email list, mark my account as completely satisfied and not owing any money, and to stop contacting me. I want their billing agents to be given proper procedures for not billing accounts that are closed, so customers do not feel harassed after ending services. Discontinuing service should be easy, not a giant hassle.Business Response

In 6/2022 I contacted Ehrlich to resolve a pest issue. The initial interaction was every bit of proficient and efficient. I could not speak more highly of the salesperson and technician that both promptly addressed all initial concerns and appointment. Regrettably, the continuing service as an established customer is where the inadequacy and blatantly crude customer service became unnervingly pungent. The service agreement was signed on 6/1/2022. It was during this call that the salesperson collected my credit card information for future billing and continuing service. I was readily provided a copy of this agreement for recordkeeping on 6/6/2022. On 6/8/2022 a technician arrived to treat the issue. Upon 6/10/2022 is when I was provided a receipt for service, which was $238.50. This exact amount also posted to my Discover credit card the same day. On 6/23/2022 I received an email from Ms. Christina McIntosh of Ehrlich stating that my account had an overdue balance of $238.50, which was swiftly paid on 6/10/2022. I promptly responded to her email on 6/24/2022 and provided screenshots to show this bill was previously paid and processed. It was again on 7/14/2022 that another email was received stating my account was past due. I immediately called the customer service line and spoke with a shockingly rude, unhelpful, and anonymous woman who was offensive and demeaning. After this interaction is when I emailed and left a voicemail for Ms. McIntosh to follow-up. Additionally, I contacted the original salesperson I spoke with to voice my frustration in this error of payment along with Ms. Sasha Matos. Ms. Matos was also provided with the same screenshots to prove payment that Ms. McIntosh was given on 6/24/2022. Ms. Matos stated she forwarded the proofs to administration on 7/14/2022. I have yet to receive a response by call or email. I have now grown fearful that my, quite perfect, credit score could be at risk for this company's clerical accounting error.
