This woman is a nightmare to deal with! We just finally got our boat cover finished after 8 months of waiting & multiple lies of when it would be finished. I spoke to her the first of November was quoted a price and mailed in a deposit check which she quickly cashed to get our spot to get our cover made. She told us then that she would be able to get to it end of December or January. So we reached out & were told oh well it will be mid February now...ok now issue. Waited no call. We reached back out. It was pushed back to March. Waited again no phone call reached back out mid March as boating season was fast approaching and were told nope not yet another one in front of you. I called back and we were going to ask for our deposit back and part ways but they said oh we just cut your fabric for your cover bring your boat over. Took the boat over was never given any other quote / estimate then so still thinking the original quote was accurate. She said this wont take too long we will get it done. We wait and wait and wait...its the first of May. We call to see how much longer. She says oh I haven't started it yet. Its been sitting over there for a month and a half and nothing has been done. She said it will be done by Memorial Day. Ok....we call then to see when we can come get it. ITS NOT DONE!!!! It will be mid June before its done. Finally JUNE 15th it was finished. Let me remind you I initially called her NOVEMBER 7th!!! Then she gives us the invoice. Its magically $400 more than her estimate. I bring this to her attention and she said well that's just a phone estimate. I said why did you not address the price after we brought the boat over and you saw it would cost more. She said I don't know I could have but I didn't it is what it is. If that's not the worst way to run a business I don't know what is. Every time we call it was excuse after excuse, if you cant operate a business quit or retire and quick jerking people around and wasting their time.

Hello, In response to ***************. I gave her a Estimate over the phone of $900-$1,200 depending on any extras. A boat that size with a wake board tower has 4 cut outs, and 3 vents and poles. this was explained to them during that first phone conversation. We require a deposit to get in line for the job. They sent a Check and we put them in line- would be by Memorial Day. Husband brought there boat early as the were close at there camp. We were very busy but let them bring it. They called were at camp and wanted to boat we let them take it. Days later they brought it back. We got it done and *************** called said they were going away wouldn't be back till after June 8th. I called *************** on Thursday "Your boat cover id finished. explained the amount due including the 4 cutouts and pole vents and reinforcements. He was happy. he called next day coming Sat. He came and hooked up to the boat stoped in to let me know HE FORGOT A CHECK. we let him take the boat he was very happy with our work and his new cover. we never had a sour word!! Then his wife **************** called days later to complain about the price. She threatened me over and over phone call lasted over 20 min. In over 25 years of building custom made covers have I ever been talked to by the likes of ****************. We work very hard to please our customers, and in all these years have never had a unhappy customer. Her old cover had the same extras so she should have known what the cover would consist of. I never lied to her and never talked to her after the first phone conversation till the cover was done and gone when she called to complain about the price. We still have not been paid for our custom work, they have there boat and the new cover!! they have the boat up for sale but until the cover is paid for we own the cover. We will employ any legal means to get paid or have the sheriff remove the cover.

That's funny *** - I have notes from our first call with an estimate from $750 - $950...funny how your numbers changed. On the first phone call we NEVER talked about vents or cut outs. When you saw the boat in person you never mentioned a new price either. You also TOLD US TO BRING THE **** OVER THAT DAY - NO MENTION IT WAS EARLY OR HOW BUSY YOU WERE. You lied multiple times about when you would be ready for us that's it. I did not threaten you at all. I called to tell you how we were beyond aggerated with this entire long process and wanted a explanation on why the final product was $500 more than initial estimate that is all and why we were never made aware of that. You said it is what it is and I could have called but didn't. Funny that you are threating legal means when you already cashed our check for the full final payment.
