this man is clearly an experienced SCAMMER. he showed up to our house (joined by a young and older man) and lied his way into gaining our business. I stupidly paid him before the job was done and he left 30 minutes later. He completed less than a quarter of the work we had agreed to and the place looked an absolute mess. He was extremely pushy and disrespectful throughout the process, and I wish we would have caught the red flags sooner. Please be smarter than we were and BEWARE of this man!

This guy came to my house. Gec was extremely pushy and in my personal space, and requested that I call my mother (whoo would have been paying for services) RIGHT NOW even though I was on my way to work. SCAM ARTIST.

ideally would have ability to do a negative star versus a 1 star. Came yesterday, originally quoted $800 to do some trim work, by the time he was done talking was up to $2,000. Prepaid as I had several calls and wouldn't have time to talk. Left early and while everything he talked about was touched, the branch cleanup was very minimal. Came back next day, claiming one of his crew was hospitalized for covid, and apologized, then pointing out alleged damage. Quoted $1,500 to remove large limb which he stated had carpenter ant damage. His team again left after 30 minutes of work to get "breakfast. Saw the person he stated was hospitalized working. Then during their absence went out and looked at branch they cut down which had no signs of insect damage. Printed off the reviews from BBB, asked for a final rate to cover the hour they had worked, told him not going to report to Attorney General but also gave him the pamphlet from attorney general for fraudulent practices against the elderly and told him to leave with no future contact.

Scammer and check forgery: Came by our house door to door and persuaded my husband that he could fix our gutter and prune some trees. Charged us $600. Gutter broke again promptly. When we went to review the check, he had forged it from $600 to $800. Please do not hire people who solicit door to door. We are elderly.

This conman just tried to rip off my mother and father in lawyer for the second time. He butchered a tree at their house before and charged more than he had quoted them. He was back today 3/10/2023 and he talked himself into their house and was going to charge them $500 to trim the same tree he had nearly killed 2 years ago. My in laws are in their 80's. Please warn your older family members and neighbors to be on the look out for this man. He was working the ******** ** ******** ***** ** *** ******* *****

This man solicited in our neighborhood in ******, ****. Since two neighbors had used his services that day, I thought He was legit. Unfortunately, he described himself as an arborist, which he is not, and he described the work he was going to do and he did not do it. He did a little trimming and kept asking me to get him more ice for his drink from inside the house. At the end he wanted to look in my garage for bungie cords, even though I told him none were there. I have been nervous ever since and deeply regret paying him for work he did not accomplish.

Neighbor hired him to remove large trees. No one bothered to say a word to us. He proceeded to drop a fifty foot tree onto my yard. Said he was trying to get it between two houses neither of which he had permission destroyed my large maple tree. Told my wife it would grow back. Not in my lifetime. Incompetrnt

Did work at my house, quoted me $1000. After the work was done, said the job was $1600. Did not do all of the work he said he would do. Did not clean up the area after the job was done. Broke a yard ornament, and then argued that it was broken before he got there. Overall was unprofessional, and felt like he was taking advantage of an elderly widow.

The work was fair to OK, but he refused to accept the $900 we had agreed upon and shook hands to seal the deal before he began. He claimed that the work was more involved than he thought and insisted I owed him $1300 and I should consider it a bargain because he normally charges $1500. After arguing about it for 10 minutes, I wrote him a check for $1200 to get him out of my house. Much later I remembered that his business card claimed that he has been in business for 30 years. I find it impossible to believe that he could not correctly quote a simple 2 hour job with 30 years experience. I wish I had remembered that at the time and told him that if he misquoted the job, its his fault and not mine. I did not change what we agreed would be done, and he had no right to change what he charged. But he took advantage of my age to brow-beat me until I caved. I made the mistake of hiring someone who happened to be driving by and claimed that he had been busy doing other jobs in the area and would give me a great price. I did not think to get a second quote. He is not an honest business person. I wish I had thought to read his BBB Customer review, like the one below. It would have saved me a great deal of money. Will he come back and attack me for leaving an honest review? I can prove that I was his customer. I paid him by check and it has his name on it. I would prefer to email BBB a copy of the cashed check to prove that I was a customer of his instead of having the ******************** send my name to him. I do not want him coming back and hurting me.
