    I ordered a door and screen door from this company on March 22, 2022. It was just recently installed after 7 months of waiting but it is the wrong color! They delivered a brown door. I ordered a black door. The owner keeps fighting me on this and won't replace it unless I pay him the $8707 first and an extra $920 to replace the screen door. Both were ordered in black. Brown was never ever an option No other colors were ever an option. I just had my siding replaced to be grey and wanted the door to match the shutters which are black. The brown door looks ridiculous! the owner offered to paint everything black..... These doors are high quality doors and I do not want them painted and have the paint wear off in a couple of year. He needs to replace the doors with black ones like I ordered. My husband was present when he came to the house with the door styles and we never agreed to any other color but black for the screen and main door outside Inside color white. We talked about how the trim would look better in white than in black etc. I have several emails regarding this. The owner messed up and is not willing to correct it.

    I have and will continue to try and work with Ms. ********** I have included copies of are emails where she specifically ask me if I thought "all black would look good with the white trim above" and further went on to say could she get a "second look or another opinion on having all black" after she had already picked out the color espresso which you can see on the door spec sheet. At that time I told I had not ordered the door and told her and I could come out Thursday or Friday with larger color samples to review colors again, which you see in the emails. Ms. ********* then follows up with an email and says she will color the pictures so she can look at options, then her finale email "Lets keep it the way it was. As attached How soon can you order it?" Which I responded " Will order this morning.  I have reordered the storm door which is now in and ready to be installed and painted the exterior of the new door as agreed to, and have not charged the homeowner for the painting or new storm door per our second agreement which we both signed. Please let me know what  the next steps are, as I would like to resolve the issues as soon as possible. Thank you, Ron R*********

    I am rejecting this response because:  I never agreed to brown.  It's obvious he is leaving out detailed information during our conversations.  The colors I always talked about were black and white, just like the shutters and trim on my house with the grey siding.  He never responds by email, always just  by phone call.  He never showed up with "samples" because I told him black is black and white is white   No need for samples.  He never came to the house - I have video footage to prove that.  The door was painted but the paint is not acceptable as I was very very afraid of.   I paid $7700 for a front door that is painted black and the paint is not looking good.  There is a reason you order the correct color with manufacturer paint on it so it lasts. I could have just painted my old door,  or   I could have ordered a $1000 door at Menards and have the same results. The painter took the paint can with her so I cannot even research what kind of paint was used.  This paint will peel in no time.   When I touch the door is turns a matt grey film over it and when the sun beats on it (and it is Winter now...imagine in the summer) it smells bad and is extremely hot to touch.     I do not have the screen door yet.  It's still the ugly brown screen door and I never received a phone call that they could install it.
