On 7/21/23, I visited the Worthington location. The service was absolutely horrible. We waited 10 minutes for first round of drinks. Second round of drinks took another 15+ minutes for someone to ask if wanted another one plus an additional 15 minutes for the drink to arrive. Waitress didn’t know the menu very well. People around us got their orders before us. Then the waitress brought the check. I immediately put my card in and she never came back after 20 minutes. I had to go to the bar to check out. They are lucky I even gave a tip because the service was that bad. My tip was not entered correctly. Mind you, it’s $0.06. Had the tip been entered correctly, you wouldn’t have heard from me, but since someone wants to change what I wrote on the receipt, here we are. I will not be back to your location. I should have known it was going to be bad, and I should have went elsewhere. Bill amount $56.19 Tip $3.81 Total: $60.00 Charged $60.06 Poor service plus modified receipt= never supporting business. Hopefully, you do not own any other companies because I wouldn’t visit those establishments as well.

    Business Response

    ****,

I wanted to respond and apologize for the poor service you received at our Worthington location.  We take a lot of pride in the quality of our food, our drinks, and most especially, our service.  Unfortunately during your visit, we failed on the service aspect.  I have taken your experience to the GM and we are utilizing it as an opportunity to coach the team and do better next time, whether that is with you, or any other guest that walks through our front doors.

In regards to the tip discrepancy, after looking at the picture you submitted as well as the slip itself at the location, I can honestly say that I think it was a simple mix-up on the servers' end.  I myself did a double-take on the slip as I read the tip as $3.87, as both the 8 and the 7 are connected with a straight line that could easily be mistaken for the top part of a 7.  I feel extremely confident that your server did not do that on purpose and have started the process of getting the $.06 refunded to your card.

Once again, I apologize for the experience and you should see the refund on your card within 5-10 business days depending on your individual banks' policy on crediting refunds.

I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint.

However, there should not need to be a “double take” on the receipt. It clearly says $60.00 for total. I was mad when I was signing the receipt, and the service is lucky to even get $0.01.

Regardless if the 8 and 1 are touching, it sums up to $60.00 not $60.06. You cannot mistake a 0 or 6 on the receipt on the total line. That should be your check function not taking the higher number of the options.

$.06 times a thousand customers is $60 and of course the more mistakes can add up to a larger amount.

Overall, it doesn’t matter, I won’t be back to your location and/or any other business you’re affiliated with.
