      I am filing this complaint regarding negligent and unethical practices by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Homes & Crematories, which resulted in the unauthorized cremation of my beloved dog, *****, and their continued refusal to provide documentation regarding his cremation.

      Summary of Events:

      1.Unauthorized Cremation:On date unknown, Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Homes & Crematories allowed ******* *******, a third party who was NOT the legal owner of my dog, *****, to authorize his cremation and take possession of his ******** no point did the funeral home verify ownership or request any documentation proving that ******* ******* had the legal right to make this decision.

      2.Refusal to Provide Documentation:After learning of the cremation, I contacted the funeral home and provided official documentation proving I am the legal owner of *****.Despite this, they have refused to provide me with any records related to his cremation and claimed they cannot verify that I am the ownereven though they never verified ownership before authorizing the cremation.

      3.Emotional Distress & Consumer Harm:The funeral homes negligence has caused significant emotional distress as I was denied the right to make final decisions regarding *****.Their refusal to provide cremation documentation is unfair, deceptive, and a violation of consumer protection laws.
