    I needed a window glass replacement in July 2021. I received several quotes and finally decided to go with Bailey's Glass and Mirrors. They requested a pre-payment of the full amount which is 312.12. I made the payment on August 10th via credit card and they promised to take care of the work in 2-3 weeks. However, despite multiple inquiry, the work was not done until October, 2021. And the company sent me another bill of 310.97 on 10/20/2021, for the same job that I already paid in full several months ago. I called them to explain the situation and they said they will look into it and call me back. Never did. To make sure they have the necessary information, I also replied to the bill with a copy of the credit card payment confirmation. When I thought this is finally taken care of, received the same bill again on May 13th, 2022.

    the issue is two separate problems. the first being the issues with production, manufacturing and shipping of materials in todays market is not something that any business can predict or mange effectively. Unfortunately with custom glass units there are multiple partners and shipping issues. delays are commonplace in todays market. we strive to let customers know this and manage it as effectively as possible.

    the second issue is our responsibility fully. because of staffing shortages we outsourced our billing to a their party. This began in may of 2022. when we did this multiple customers received segments of their account from the date of our last system back up. while we attempted to rectify this the merger of our accounting system and the third party software produced some irregularities. The bill in question is paid and recorded as such in our books. the client was not sent an additional invoice. we are not and have not attempted to collect on this error.
