One of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. We used this service previously (about 3 years ago) and were happy with the service. I even gave them a glowing review. That all changed when we tried to be repeat customers several months ago. I have never such a runaround as this company put us through (and I deal with a lot of service companies). Called to get a quote for continued service for trees on the property, we liked their work before, and wanted to go with them again. I was requested to send pictures and describe what we wanted done. Talked to their office and was told I would have a quote in three or 4 days. I also explained on the phone what needed done as we viewed together on the phone the pictures I had sent. I was requested to send some additional pictures in describe in greater detail the work we wanted done, which I did. Heard nothing back, so I called. I stated I wanted to be on the property when the owner came out to the property (which I requested they do, so they see what we needed), and was told he had already been out there and they would get me the quote. It never came. I continued to communicate with the company and continued to get a runaround. They would state they would call me that day, and never did. Then they said they were sending someone out to the property to scope out the work (wait, I thought they already did?). Silence. I tried contacting them several more times, the final time just asking them to give me a yes or a no if they were interested in our business. Nothing. My initial request began in July, and to this day, I never heard back from them. I guess they did not mind me wasting my time meeting all their needs, for them to just not respond or provide any semblance of customer service. I don't know what happened to the company I thought I knew, but they are totally mismanaged and completely unprofessional. Obviously they do not care!

We do agree with your complaint, that we dropped the ball handling your calls correctly. We have been struggling with having the work force needed and are addressing the problem aggressively. We understand everything you have shared with us. Please know that each and every customer is very important to us. It is our customers that keep us in business. We have strived to maintain a reputable family owned business for 40 years. It is as important to us now as it was from day 1. We appreciate the time that you spent to share this with us. 5 starsWe had a large maple that was growing too close to the house. We chose Charter Oaks to remove the tree because they offered several options and a great price. Glad we chose them. I recently had a tall pine fall due to wind storm. I am very pleased with the the professionalism of office staff as well as estimator and tree removal staff. I've lived in this Worthington home for 26+ years. I've used this firm in the past to trim my trees, remove a vary large blue spruce, purchased bulk mulch over the last 25 years. I have recommended them to family members. I will continue to hire this company for all my tree projects.Charter Oaks Tree & Landscaping Co., Inc.

I interviewed 3 companies to complete tree removal and pruning. Charter Oaks was the only company that had a majority of positive reviews and very few complaints. We also felt their quote was reasonable for the work we requested. Their **************** was very easy to work with and they answered all of our questions. The crew arrived as scheduled, worked expediently and cleaned up all debris. They also took extra care in our and neighbor's lawn as they brought in their equipment. Charter Oaks **************** and round the ***** ahead of plan. A couple of surface roots were left ungrinded; however, a quick call to Charter and the grinders were dispatched again promptly. I am pleased with Charter's work, competitive pricing and responsiveness. I will use them again in the future and recommend their services to my friends.Charter Oaks Tree & Landscaping Co., Inc.
