    Transaction Summer 2022 Marc ZIegler Midwest College Planning Amount $3,150 College aid applications and financial services related to planning for my sons college. They guarantee in writing in the services covered in the agreement. Marc stated that his fees would be offset by the savings he would be able to generate through filing for grants and aid and scholarships. Unfortunately... No services were ever provided. No applications had ever been submitted. We had to scramble around at the last minute just to complete the basic FASFA application after sending him all the financial information he requested in September of 2022. I requested that they show me what college applications and services were completed or provided. When they could not provide any proof or documentation, I requested a refund which Marc to this point has denied.

    I am rejecting this response because: 
    After providing all the financial information to Midwest College planning absolutely nothing was done after that.  They didn’t fill out and financial aid requests, file for any grants, or even the most basic things like the FASFA form or return any phone calls.

    In order to help families plan for college we ask for information.  In the Welcome Email you received a budget worksheet and plan to pay for college worksheet.  We never received that information back. We asked multiple times for your son's transcript and did not receive it. In a financial aid mailer, you received another request for information including the plan to pay for college worksheet and a checklist for required financial aid information. We received some of the information on the financial aid checklist however the information required to log on to the website (FSA username and password) was never submitted.  Our email requesting the information which included instruction was not answered.
