    We have been a longstanding Status Solutions customer for decades. This vendor, Status Solutions, provides emergency call hardware and software to a number of our senior living buildings. They elected to increase their support charges by sextupling the charges from $3k per year per community to $18k per community per year. When we didn't agree to the unheard of increase, they stopped their support of our installations. Their increase is an attempt to force customers to purchase a suite of additional services that they may or may not desire. We did not desire to buy the additional (largely unrelated) services, despite their attempt to force us to.Now, we submit requests for support on a time and charges basis and they often don't respond within . This is the worst treatment from any vendor we have encountered in over 40 years in business.
