Former Student (MA program) Mobile, Al Please if you are looking to further your career in the medical field, stay away from this school and its program. The school and program are full of lies, scams and fraud. False advertising at its finest because you will not experience what they offer and advertise. You will basically teach yourself specially when it comes to clinicals your clinicals should be accounted for during externship. Seems to me the school only appreciates the money and numbers coming in. If you don't pay when they want you to there are consequences and they will not work with you because they do not care about your career or the fact you are an actual human being, they see you as a number and dollar signs. They condone in students and some teachers to bully other students and when mentioned about it the teacher will lie for the students or pull those students to the side and joke about it and not fix the situation. Being a witness and almost being a victim myself. I have also witnessed other students quitting the program or moving to the day classes. I myself would not go to school or almost gave up myself because I was tired of a negative environment. They are money hungry thieves specially when it comes to their own mistakes and expect me to pay back their mistake they did, which this mistake has cost me to even receive my diploma, *********** and to be able to walk across the stage coming up here in November. After various phone calls and speaking to 5 different people and still told no due to their mistake. Not only have I been a victim to their fraud, but they are not allowing my husband to walk and saying he owes money as well. Fortis college false, scam and frauds. Fortis College Mobile Al, take accountability for your actions.

This school is terrible when it comes to making sure students paper work and test dates are properly scheduled. I’ve missed out on two Great job opportunities after completing the program because of this school not having testing dates together, cancelling the test the day of. The school has put me in a whole financially and i would not recommend this place to NO ONE AT ALL.*

I am a student at this school and it is nothing but a fraud! If you don’t abide by their non-legal practices, they will put you in a position to fail or quit. They do not give test results at the end of test on the computer “which they should because the results are made available as soon as you are finished”. They change grades and even told us that is why results are not available. I studied 165 questions for a 50 question exam because they will not provide a study guide on an exam that covers sometimes up to 12 chapters! Being that I studied so much unnecessary information, I missed some of what I needed to know. All-in-all, I struggled with maybe 6 questions out of the 50. But when I received my grade 24 hours later I received a 70%, I was refused access to the exam to actually see what I missed. I feel like I am being punished out of that school because I challenged the assistant dean on a decision that affected my career! Every since that day, it has become harder and harder to get a passing grade on anything. If you fail 2 nursing classes you are put out of school! If you are put out of school, no other nursing school will take you. So I am at the point where I need to make a decision to withdraw and look for another nursing school! This school is a waste of time and money! Not to mention a class that I paid for that we never had to do any work or exams but the teacher went through at the end and put grades in for everyone! So we actually learned nothing in that class but everyone passed! When I was concerned about this I went to the assistant dean and the vice president and both referred me back to the teacher who had done this! They never questioned the teacher, and laughed at my concerns. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS PLACE! It sounds good that you can finish in 2 years, but that is not true! If you fail a class in a quarter, you have to repeat just that class next quarter which will put you back 3 months!

I’m a former student of Fortis and the school should absolutely be closed and forced to pay back any loans and tuition ever paid. You will be forced to teach yourself as many of the professors either refuse to actually teach, are so incredibly mean, or are simply incompetent. As a student I heard from professors that women who breast feed in public are *****. That women would be beat less if they learned to shut up and stay with their abusers to have their hills paid. I was taught that to titrate means to only go up on medications never down. My class was screamed at that we were too stupid to start on page one and the book needed a page 0. My clinical experience was a joke. I wasn’t allowed to touch patients because I have tattoos and piercings. This school is nothing more than a money making business.

I attended Fortis College in *************************************** campus, I didnt have a lot to complain about in the beginning, but now I am. Im having a hard time with career services, I get called out for being out of school for 2 yrs. I would call, text, leave messages, email, and still get nothing. I get the run around when I call, the front desk doesnt even answer the phone when I call, I think they know my number. They havent given me anything but a hard time, I been trying to reach someone in career services for about 6/7 months the lady will not call me back, she is very unprofessional, unreliable, and I dont completely trust her anymore, she helps who she wanna helps. I dont attend this school anymore, but I do deserve some decent service, graduated, tuition paid, grades are high. Im very disappointed in this jacked up system they got over at Fortis, all they care about is money.

This College is a master at fraud! They lie about their accreditation, the cost, your student loan repayment. Everything! None of your credit's will transfer to ANY other school! There is nothing good or reputable about this institution! I could and should have went to a reputable College and not wasted my time and money! Especially since the a real degree from a real College would have cost me half of what these criminals charged me and the government for the so called education they offer!

Do NOT waste your time and money attending classes at Fortis College in **************, ****. This school does not care about helping people become skilled professionals. It is a for profit college. They lack organization, effective communication, and basic professionalism. I was enrolled and in the middle of my 3rd term in the RN program. I made my tuition payments out of pocket on time and in full. My grades were great, and I was keeping up with the work in my classes. I received one letter stating I was essentially kicked out for financial reasons. Figuring there was a mistake, I reached out speaking with staff who should have been able to quickly remedy their error. Instead, I was told lies that I had missed too much class and they had been reaching out to me! There were no texts, phone calls, letters, emails-nothing except a letter dismissing me from the school. I can't believe this happened! A nursing program should want responsible, caring students graduated from their school. It seems the goal of Fortis is to take your money. They do not care about helping people learn. To add insult to injury, I was told I could restart. Their business practices are unethical and damaging. This was a huge waste of my valuable time and money. I would leave a zero star review if possible.
