  Do not use this company. They were contracted through a furniture retailer to assemble our purchase, but the experience was terrible. Upon arrival, they immediately complained about the bedroom being upstairs. They then became belligerent, insisting the job would take much longer than expected and ultimately started yelling at us. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable service. Avoid at all costs.

  We had a distressing experience with Planes Moving & Storage during our move from Portland to Miami. Our scheduled pickup on July 10th was delayed by two days due to the movers arriving late and coming back late the next day. This left my wife, ******* who had taken PTO to handle the move, struggling to clean and prepare our old house. Communication with our point of contact, Cathie, was inadequate. On July 11th, she said she "forgot to check in" and didn’t follow up as promised. By July 22nd, with no update, we had to book an ****** for an extra night. We couldn’t extend our stay and moved into our new house on July 24th without our belongings, forcing us to sleep on an air mattress. Our delivery, which was already late, was completed on July 27th. The movers were polite but left our furniture poorly assembled. We faced additional costs due to delayed delivery, including $2,211 in cleaning fees for our old house, which would have been avoided with timely pickup. Our son, ******, struggled with the move, missing school registration and being placed in an overflow class causing him to cry at his orientation. Despite paying $16,941 for the move, Planes Moving & Storage offered only $1,500 in compensation. Given the stress, additional costs, and disrupted plans, this amount is inadequate. We are seeking fair compensation of $5,082. This move, intended to reduce stress, caused significant upheaval. We urge others to consider our experience when choosing a moving company.

  We did not have a good experience with Planes Moving & Storage in our long-distance move from ******** to PA. While the staff and crew that we worked with throughout the move were nice and kind (which is why I'm giving two stars instead of just one), more went wrong than went right.They showed up later than the designated move-time window on loading day. They arrived with two trucks, which they then had to take back to the facility to unload and reload onto another truck, rather than just loading onto the one truck that would actually head to our new place in PA. (All the loading and unloading that happened over the course of the move led to damaged items). We told them in advance that we would need help packing up the kitchen, and the loading crew that arrived was not aware of this. They had to take time to go back to the facility to get packing materials, and they were not careful about the packing. Most of our kitchen items did arrive without damage, but several items arrived broken or damaged. They also did not inform us about the possibility of splitting our items into a regular and "overflow" shipment. The first shipment arrived in the agreed-upon delivery spread. The overflow shipment arrived two weeks later, and the move coordinator was not able to give us a clue about when this would take place until just a couple days prior. Conveniently for them, they also do not consider a late delivery of an overflow shipment to be legitimate for a delay claim.If I had to do this over, I would have just gotten a pod and handled the whole thing myself. It would have been much more straightforward and I am sure we would end up with fewer damaged items. Also, our things would very likely have arrived on time and as agreed to because the pod would come straight here, rather than making numerous detours.

  These guys were great - professional, helpful and friendly. The heat and humidity didnt slow them down. They were very gracious in fixing mistakes when I directed them to the wrong room. I would hire them again should I need their services.

  Mere words cannot express how professional, caring, well-spoken, and efficient this crew of young men was during our recent move. The amount of work they carried out was underestimated, and it took all of 12 hours on a hot day to complete loading and unloading. Not one of these five men complained, and each of them maintained a sense of humor and pride in their work. Hats off to Kaleb, Paul, Jarred, Dree, and Christian. This crew will be requested for our next move. *** **

  Movers beware! Felony theft by one of their crews and no support from Planes. I want to make sure no one else experiences this. It's the worst feeling to have ~ $22k stolen from you and the worst part is my kids baby photos are gone. Planes does not care nor are the offering any resolution. Here is the story I shared with my network. *********After selling our home in May 2021, we moved into temporary living. Last week we closed on our house and began to move into our new dream home. I am generally a private person, so very few people know this, and we attempted to resolve this privately, but Planes Moving & Storage wasnt willing to do so. Therefore, I need to ensure everyone knows about our experience in hopes that this doesnt happen to you or any other family. I admit it, but the movers with Planes have created the perfect crime. We were an easy ****, and ******* they got us. We moved out of our 4 bedroom home in Loveland in June 2021 to a local storage facility. So our items sat in 2 storage units for one full year. We use Planes Moving & Storage for both moves. We purchased locks from the local storage facility and maintained the keys with ** the entire time; no one else had access to the unit or keys. During the unloading process, we realized that a few of our items were missing, and as the move continued, we discovered over $22K worth of things were not on the truck and missing. My husband and I first noticed when we didnt see our new bedroom set, and then the movers even mentioned it, saying youre missing a few chairs for each table. Cue panic, I will keep this on point, but at that moment, we realized the previous crew had robbed us, re-played th
