Took my car in because it occasionally was hesitant to start. He said it was the starter and wanted to charge double what everyone else said they would, so i picked my car up and drove home. When i came out to leave the next day, which was friday, it was after business hours, but there was a basketball size puddle under my car, and while driving i noticed my blower wasn't shutting off. Texted Patrick's 1st thing monday morning, to say he had zero interest is an understatement. Just said it wasn't his problem, if i broughr it in it would cost $94 for him to look at it, other than that to remove him from my contacts. When i had 1st brought my car in and was waiting on a ride, he had been on the phone laughing to someone how after he had worked on a woman's car, afterwards she said her motor wasn't running right so she took him to court and he joked that the judge had called him an expert and he won the case. Well, we now have a pattern in how Patrick's does business with women. BEWARE!!

Vehicle 2007 Honda crv 227,827 We did look at this vehicle. Diagnosed a weak starter- most likely original. She declined Repairs due to our price being too expensive. Update- (I just spoke to another local shop by chance today 10/14 and mentioned this review- She inquired to them about a quote for the starter. She told them she could get one online for $69 and he was too expensive also. Now days later she has an interior electrical problem and a basketball spot under the car. She contacted me on 10/14 to let me know these problems were not there before we looked at it. I replied with " It was odd, but not related to our diagnosis." She then brought up the wet spot, again inferring it was my problem. I replied " We didn’t cause this problem and was unrelated to our diagnosis." I did tell her the cost of labor per hour to investigate the problems. I did also tell her to remove my contact from her phone if she was not interested in moving forward. I was prompted to respond this way giving the accusatory direction of her messages. I have the right to decline work and know when we are responsible. Ill also mention the lady that sued me, Lost! She drove her car for months with a large coolant leak. Job and family services paid me to fix the coolant leak. Days or weeks after- The engine blew up - She sued me for a blown-up engine. After finding out from other local shops she had neglected to fix the coolant leak for months. it was determined she warped the cylinderes and caused undue stress to the head gasket. model year 2004 dodge stratus. She cooked the engine and blamed me, similar to what is happening on this review. So yes, I laughed speaking to someone on the phone. laughing now of the audacity that someone neglects their car for months and makes it someone else’s problem. I was in court three different times for that event and do not intend to put myself back in that position. So yes, if I decline your work. There are good reasons. NO faults were found with my shop. The judge stated I was an " expert in my industry". Call me a predator when it fits your agenda. I almost did not respond to this. I do not need to defend myself to my customers that built this business 12 years ago , who believed in me with continued support- they know who I am and what we as a TEAM here at Patrick’s Automotive stand for. If you question our integrity, you have the right to keep moving along. Keep your key board quiet when you don’t know the facts or Have hard feelings about being told NO.
