I reached out to GPRS to inquire about their services as I have a private gas line I needed to get marked. I was surprised how expensive it was but remembered I also have a sprinkler system that was installed prior to moving in. I thought the cost would be worth it if I could get both the private gas line AND sprinkler system mapped out. I specifically mentioned getting the sprinkler system marked in several emails to confirm that would happen and was never told it would be a problem. I only agreed to the service under the pretenses of getting both the private gas line and sprinkler lines marked. The last email i sent before scheduling said: "As long as it covers all my utilities, including sprinkler system, I think I would like to proceed with scheduling my entire yard getting done." They proceeded to schedule me and send me an official quote. The project manager came out on the scheduled day and time and touched base with me. He said he may or may not be able to locate the sprinkler lines but will try his best. This was not how it was communicated over email prior to making the appointment. He was unable to locate the sprinkler lines. I received a bill for the full cost. I explained I did not feel I was liable for the full cost as both the services we agreed to were not completed. The gas line was marked but not the sprinkler lines. I would not have agreed to $1k if the sprinkler was not included. The area manager replied and said that since the project manager explained he may not be able to find the sprinkler lines at the beginning of my appointment and I let him try anyway, I am liable for the full cost. In the official quote that was sent to me upon getting the job scheduled, it states that: "If for some reason the technician arrives on site and the work is cancelled there will be a charge of $500 per requested technician." This means the area manager believes I should have not let the work get done and just been out $500?

October 6 i had scheduled GPRS to come out and identify some plumbing pipes in the ground. Earlier that week i had called and spoke with a rep there and they assured me that they could identify the piping in the ground. Minimum charge would be 700 was their base fee for 2 hours of work. On October 6 the tech showed up and started the work. He told me that most likely he wouldn't be able to find the pipe because it was plastic and with the soil conditions in texas he wouldn't be to. I wish i had known that before i paid 700 up front. I find it strange because at one point i asked him just to trace from the main water line (which i could see visibly 18 inchs down in the ground where the main water line meter was at) Instead he put some kind of electronic thing ont he meter wires and tried to trace it that way. But said because it was plastic it wouldn't show up. It had to be metal. Which i though was weird. Most pipe i have dealt with is plastic so i was confused why his Radar equipment wasn't showing anything especially when i could visibly see the pipe starting point. I wasnt given any map or results of any kind from his equipment. His equipment couldn't trace the pipe in spite of it visible at one end later i dug all along the route to find the end. I was not impressed with their services. The tech ran around the yard. He didn't even find things if found with my own metal detector later that day. I feel like i was part of a scam.He just showed up and Collected 700 from me and ran around the yard for a few minutes and and said he couldn't find anything and being it was plastic they wouldn't find anything. Had i known that their equipment (or the user) was not sufficient to find a plastic pipe and where it ran that was 18 inches in the ground and visible on one end i would not have hired them. If they can't detect plastic pipe then they should change their advertising on their website and if the soil in texas is a problem Then they shouldn't operate in texas.

Respected Team, I was purchasing a property which I realized was once up on a time Gas Station. I wanted to check whether or not the gas tanks were actaully removed before I decide to buy the property. I come accross GPRS website and contacted the rep and finally signed work order. But to my surprise on the day of the test, the project manager called me with a vague answer that he is not sure whether or not Gas tanks exist in the ground, and the reason he mentioned that, he could not go deep more than 3 feet. (but usually tanks buried about 6 to 10 ft under ground) Looks like this is a limitation on the test or they brought lower range equipment, but all I wanted was that confirmation on whether or not there are Gas tanks present, but neither PM could verbally confirm and nor on the report about the tanks. I think this is clear misleading - I would expect the representaive indicated about test limitation during our first conversation, also website also clearly mention that- "Team will do analysis" before the test there was no analysis done and also there was no mention on test limitation. I was trying to explain same thing in many emails and offered to pay visit fee (service fee) - $550 rather than test fee which I think there was no proper test was done. But GPRS still insisting to pay 100% which I think is unreasonable
