    I hired them do work in my house over the years, and all was ok until I needed them to honor a warranty. Another local company told me twice to have Tongs do the work on the faulty product because it was under warranty, and both times Tongs refused to honor the warranty. The other company ended up doing the work for me the second time because I will not give my money to a company who doesn’t show any commitment to their customers.

    I am sorry for the inconvenience on the warranty of your Rheem water heater that failed under the manufacture's warranty. Getting the water heaters backed under warranty has been difficult for our company. We no longer have a contact with Rheem as we are selling Bradford White water heaters. Due to the difficulty of warranty coverage. This is the reason that we have switched manufacture's. I did recommend that there may be other plumbers in the area that could possible do the warranty tank. The tank and controls had a 6 year warranty with a 1 year labor warranty. The Rheem water heater was installed in 2017 and was 5 + years old. I did make an offer for a reduced price for a new water heater installation on a new unit with a full warranty. The labor was out of warranty. I appreciate your past business and we will still service the equipment that we have sold and installed. The only problem is I have no control over the manufacture's portion of the warranty. Thank You.
