  we used Stepps almost 3 years ago and was delighted with their work. Gave them a 5 star review. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same this year. We have called them 6 times since July 10, 23. Spoke to Brad on July 11 at which time he said he would have to check his schedule for giving us an estimate. Did not hear back from him. Have called him 4 times since with no response. We were just needing an estimate at this time not in a big hurry for work to be started. Dont know what happened to the company but things have really changed in less than 3 years. A phone call would have been nice to at least acknowledge our calls.

  Dick & Evie E. The Stepp's crew just left. They are the BEST tree service we've had in over 30 years at our heavily wooded location in Beavercreek - totally professional. The owner, Brad Stepp, arrived a bit early in response to our mid afternoon emergency call to get 2 large broken limbs from our prickly black locust tree off our neighbor's roof. He waited patiently/respectfully while a competitor completed his inspection for his quote. Then we saw a marked difference in professionalism and preparation to perform. His bid was just over half his closest competitor - extremely competitive & thorough. He checked to ensure the roof wouldn't leak if it rained, offered to start work right then and into the night, if necessary; explained what needed to be done & provided a clear written quote. It was easy to accept! The following morning, he and his clean-cut team were hard at work before we even realized it. The team used modern heavy equipment they own to work efficiently and carefully to avoid any further damage to the roof; laid plywood for their heavy equipment to move on - to prevent damaging the lawn; used a bucket truck to access the roof and the tallest parts of the tree; removed the entire tree, all the branches and limbs and moved them to the street; removed/chipped the stump and its connecting surface roots. They leveled the stump hole and root area; filled and leveled it with soil and made it ready for new seeding; and cleared the lawn to pre-storm, pre-work condition. And after the roof was cleared they ensured it was safe and free of damage that could be a problem during a heavy rain. All in about 5 hours! They received their well-earned pay and our neighbor's and our effusive praise and gratitude and went on to another job. We have already booked them for another less pressing job. They are our ONLY choice for any future tree service.

  Three large trees removed due to insect damage. Excellent job! Debris cleaned up and taken away. We can’t even tell they were here, professional job at a fair price!

  Brad and team did a great job on our property. We moved to a property with lots of overgrown trees restricting the use of our hot tub and blocking wi-fi connections. They showed up on time and worked into the evening. So polite and hardworking! I have already sent their information to all my neighbors and friends! They have our business for life! It’s hard to find people you can trust nowadays! Thanks guys!

  Brad, the owner and his crew does amazing work. I have had many tree and lawn companies in the past, none as dedicated, kind, professional as Stepp. Neighbors even complimented on how professional and complete the project on removing a very large red oak tree leaning towards our home and our neighbors was to the very end. Two long days, but never quit til the job was finished looking better than when they started. Brad's prices are VERY reasonable, than most large companies. I wish I could share the pictures/videos on their hard work.

  Stepp’s Tree and Mulch were absolutely FABULOUS! They paid attention to detail, hard working, so kind, courteous and there work was impeccable! I would highly recommend Brad and his crew to everyone! So happy with their tree service! A+ work!! Lanae S.
