Lemasters tree service in the area. Do not hire them. Did ok on trees. Called them because they left their trash. Said they would be out. 7 men came yesterday were very aggressive and 1 was throwing shovel and yelling. I told them to leave and went the house. The owner came into my garage and was beating on my door and yelling for me to come out. So me being me and did go back out with my German Shepherd. He is trained and on leash by side. He was told to watch and that's what he did. They said they were calling the police . Told him go ahead. Made sure they were calling the right police department. Police come and the idiots want me charged for bringing the dog out. Police were not happy with their actions and ask me what I wanted to do. I told to make them leave. It is not against the law to have a dog to protect you. Beware.

Neighbor hired this company to remove a tree. I told them the car sittings in the driveway had the starter out and couldn’t be moved. They dropped a branch and damaged the hood. I pointed out the damage to the car and asked for the owners information. The gentleman stated I’m the owner and I’m not paying for the car it’s junk and doesn’t run. That doesn’t make it right to do a job and then damage someone else’s property. I imagine it has to do with not being insured. He then started cursing in front of the elementary kids walking home from school. What would he had done if we was at work. No one would have been there to move anyway. Very unprofessional company with very unprofessional behavior.

I called Lemasters Tree Care out for a estimate. Jesse came right out to give me a fair price on getting 4 really big trees removed from beside my home. He had this guy that climbed all the way to the top and dismantled the trees limb by limb. He was like a tree Ninja. I was very impressed with how they removed the trees and did not cause any damage whatsoever. As they was cutting the trees down I looked out the window and thought it started snowing on the guys but when I went out to look it was just shavings from the tree being cut down. I really admire Jesse because not only is he the owner he also is the one that gave me the price and I also seen him out there grabbing up the BIG WOOD right along side of his workers. I would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Very good experience with Jesse and crew. Showed up to quote 20 minutes after I called them. Crew was working a commercial property near our house and were on my site within 90 minutes. Removed one dead tree, thinned out 4 LARGE old oak trees and one tree. My wife and I were there to help guide, but guys were professional and courteous.

I got a flyer in the mail that they were working in my neighborhood and to call for a free quote. When they got here, they quoted me something completely outrageous. I said absolutely not, and he lowered the price. Wrote up a contract and wanted me to sign. I told them I needed to think about it. Give me a week to decide and that was too long for them and they kept pressuring me into signing the contract (which I did not) shook hands that they could work on my main concern (branches hanging over my neighbors house) I was at work and had a missed call from an unknown number, no voice mail or text message to notify me that they would be on my property. I came home on my lunch break, only to be bombarded and harassed about a check while saying several times I was on my lunch break and needed to get back to the hospital. (I was in scrubs and had my RN badge on) I do not think it’s appropriate AT ALL to stop a NURSE FROM GOING TO WORK. The company did not take off the only branch that was concerning me until I said something. What if I wasn’t home to say something? They left trash in my property. And overall I am a very unsatisfied customer. My tree looks fine. If that’s all you care about. But the professionalism is SEVERELY lacking. Don’t hire them. I feel scammed and pissed off.

I read some of the reviews on the BBB, and I’m not sure where they’re coming from. My experience with Lemaster’s Tree Service was much different. I received a flyer from the company a couple of weeks ago, and It lay on my kitchen counter until last Wednesday when I gave them a call. They were at my home the next morning and within 15 minutes of arrival they unloaded their equipment and were hard at work. They put in about 12 hours that first day, stopping only for a brief lunch break. They arrived the next morning and got back to work immediately, since they left their equipment (with my permission) at my home so no set up was necessary. Today was going to be tough. There was a huge tree about 50 feet from my house that needed to be taken down. This tree had been struck twice by lightning and was in pretty bad shape. I am certain that should it have fallen onto my home, it would have crushed the entire structure. I watched them dismantle this tree. Yes, they didn’t just cut it down, they took it apart. The cutter (one man in the tree) would tie a large branch off, cut it free, and then several others on the ground would use a system of ropes to lower the branch to the ground, avoiding my house, two fences, and a 500 gallon propane tank. Jesse Lemaster and his crew spent almost 2 full days at my home, removing 3 trees and trimming, pruning, and clearing brush off my property. Yes, there was more than a few tattoos in the crew (so what, I’ve got a couple of my own) but they worked and acted like the professionals they are. I will be calling them again in the spring for another project I have in mind. Give them a call if you need tree care and more. You won’t be disappointed. P.S. I am an elderly person!

They scam elderly people plain and simple. They will charge based on what they think they can get from you. Did tree work in yards of neighbors, did more work for the first by a long shot. They took down two trees and topped a couple others. Removed two stumps. $2200.00 Neighbor number two was charged twice as much. For one pine tree. That was just like the pine tree they cut down in the first neighbors yard. $ 4000.00

My elderly parents were solicited by employees of Lemasters Tree Care in Hilliard, OH in August 2022. They quickly found themselves in a high pressure, scare tactic sales pitch aimed at removing a tree in their front yard. I am highly disappointed in this company for targeting an older couple in an attempt to secure a quick sale. The individuals who knocked on my parents' door attempted to scare and bully my parents into signing a contract and have work start immediately because a crew was 'in the area today.' The employees of Lemasters refused to accept my parents' wishes to wait 24 hours before making a final decision about their tree. The interaction abruptly ended when a Lemasters employee approached my parents tree without permission, with a running chainsaw, and my mother had to forcibly raise her voice to tell the man that nobody was permitted to touch the tree until a contract was signed. She then informed them that she did not want to do business with them at all, and the employees angrily left, stating that they too had changed their mind about working for them. This kind of interaction is utterly unacceptable. I will not use Lemasters nor will I recommend their services to anyone in my neighborhood.

We used this company's service on Jan. 2, 2021.When they came, they asked for $1400.00 to cut down our tree with no taking away of the tree trunks. We agreed to pay although the price was high.In late afternoon, the man who acted like the leader of the group (I forgot his name, a handsome tall young man, about 30 years old) came to my backyard, pointed to the maple tree and said:”For protecting your house,we need to install the cables on the tree. If you don’t do it right now, soon those big branches will fall down to hit your roof to cause you to pay more for the roof repair.”I didn’t agree and said:”No, they will not. Last year, I already hired people to cut down many branches that were near the roof.”He said:”Trust me,that was not enough. They will fall very soon.”He scared me,a Chinese woman who didn’t know much about the tree, and scared my husband Bob, an elderly with dementia. He asked for a thousand dollars for two cables. We thought it was too high for the price,so I said:”If $200,I would like to pay,but not a thousand.”After bargaining,he dropped the price to $600.We decided to pay although we thought it was too expensive. When I asked if the cables would break,he said:”They are very strong, they will never break.”But he didn’t give me a receipt. This man acted like a grabber, tried his best to get money from us.Although later I called Jesse,I still didn’t get the receipt. Last month, one of the cables fell off.I called Jesse again. The owner Jesse answered the phone and said:"I don't know if we did the job.If we did, this was a long time ago." When I requested him to send men to my house to fix the problem,to put the cable back to the tree,he said:"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I should go to your house to give you a quote to cut down the tree because the cable couldn’t help,so the tree needs to be cut down, this is the only way to fix your problem."He didn’t want to talk to me when I asked him to give me a receipt, so he hung up the phone.
