    Based on dimensions provided to us by Storage-in-Motion, we ordered a brand new 12ft ****** container. What arrived is a container that is four inches narrower (6'4" vs 6'8") than what was promised - this width does not work for our use case. After multiple attempts to contact SiM to rectify the situation, they have taken no responsibility for the erroneous information nor have offered a solution moving forward.

    Thank you for the notification.  The customer, **** ******** was provided the attached factory drawing direct from the factory with exact factory dimensions of the unit he was purchasing, he elected to ignore this data.  Further, upon delivery the unit was "Inspected and Accepted" and it is "Sold As Is" which are both confirmed and acknowledged via signed contract by **** ******* signature.  Going forward, **** ******* has elected to pursue a legal path with this claim, thus there will be no further statements or responses via this forum.  The legal system will address the issue.  Thank you again.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    Thank you for your notification.  The Seller, Storage in Motion, provided me with erroneous, false information regarding the interior dimensions of the 12' ****** ****** Container.  A basic schematic - with no English language nor guidance - was provided to me; however, this schematic detailed only one part of the overall unit.  As such, I was entirely reliant on the overall dimensions of the assembled box, as provided to me by the seller and what I believed to be accurate and true.  I would have not purchased this unit had I been given accurate dimensions of the container.

    In good faith and to ensure timely payment, I signed the invoice that was provided to me by the Seller.  I continued to act upon the information that was given, under the expectation that his information was not misleading and false.

    To date, Storage in Motion has taken no responsibility for the false and inaccurate dimensions that were provided to me.  In fact, Storage in Motion continues to indicate that this is somehow my fault, and they are under no obligation to provide accurate information to their customers.  The Seller warehouses these units onsite, and is able to physically confirm any measurements that are provided to them by the factory before sending them to customers.  It is unfortunate that this situation has deteriorated to this point, as I would have been happy with a refund and them taking their unit back.

    I intend on taking every course of action available to me to recoup my costs and to hold businesses accountable for information that is provided to paying, trusting customers.  I hope BBB is able to support me in this endeavor to ensure that any future consumers are not taken advantage of.
