    Placed a deposit on an engine, through this business with ***** that he was selling around May 15, 2023 on Facebook marketplace. He claimed to have the engine pulled and ready for me to pick up the coming weekend. After placing the deposit, which was refundable and to hold the engine so it would not be sold to another party, ***** sold the engine in the car to someone else without mentioning anything to me and refused to return my deposit. After contacting *****, he claimed to have issued a refund- then came up with excuses on why the refund he not been returned. $2675.00 was the deposit amount. After multiple attempts to Contact him, he has not tried to help resolve the issue and has now stolen the money. Very dishonest. I want my refund of $2675.00 in full. He has dodged me multiple times, ignored messages and continues to make no attempt to refund my money. PayPal has closed the dispute. *****, the owner of this business claimed I would have a refund on June 2nd, that day has now passed with no refund and no attempts to resolve the issue.
