    The work was never completed after the contractor said he would return after his employee had health issues taken care of. The original subcontractor did horrible work that needs to be redone. Also, he smoked in my house after being told not to numerous times. The bathtub/shower, drywall, paint and trim in all rooms needs to be redone due to bad quality. The cabinets in the kitchen are in the incorrect size. He left me with a microwave that was supposed to be installed and it can't be installed due to the cabinets that they didn't properly install and left filler in. The sculpted ceilings weren't sculpted correctly. The paint wasn't even masked off anywhere in the house and looks like it was done by a kindergartner. Nothing was done right and he flat out lied everything. He originally quoted 3 months on the job and I had to move back in with no choice cause the insurance money was running out for temporary housing. Everything down to the trim was done in the cheapest quality and is now not holding up. Mike never showed up to monitor progress from subcontractors and I'm not even sure permits were issued for anything. I've had to have work done on my furnace that the subcontractor messed with. Their company uses vulnerable women in times of distress from fires. He likes to speak down to you verbally and doesn't want to put anything in writing. He told me that he needed the final check from the insurance to pay his vendors and would be back and never came.

    I met with ******* and her mother in early August and we walked through the house and created a punch list.  

    We have completed the work on the punch list with the exception of the microwave installment, which was not billed for.  We apologize for the delay in this matter and will take care of it in the very near future.  However, all other work was done to their satisfaction as is indicated by their paying DBC AFTER the punch list was completed.

    I am willing to meet with them again at the residence to discuss this matter and bring it to an amiable conclusion.

    I am rejecting this response because:  the screen in my front window was never fixed.  They never came to light my furnace I believe they knew it was broke.  He told me that he needed paid to pay his vendors and assured me all work would be completed.  His sub contractor and him prey on women in distress.  They lie about building code, what they were installing and the quality of their work is disgraceful.  I am now stuck with a microwave that don't even fit because they knew the cabinets weren't the right size none the less the damages his subcontractors did to them.  I do not want their company back at my residence.  He knew the paint job throughout was horrible and trys to play dumb. A kindergarter paints better than this.  He wouldn't even give me the proper bathroom medicine cabinet.  He didn't even come to pick up the check he sent someone and the punch list he did do was just on notebook paper.  Which he knew i was not satisfied with their work. I would NOT recommend the company to my worst enemy.  When the job was started he never even gave me a date of completion and knew that I could only be in temporary housing for a limited time but had no regard for a time frame using the excuse it's hard to find workers.

    I would like to note that this complaint comes five months after the final check was given us and the work signed off on.

    I do not understand where the vitriol concerning our interactions stems from.  "He likes to speak down to you verbally and doesn't want to put anything in writing."  I deny and resent this accusation.  The estimate is in wriring and all other work was completed after verbal approval as many of the changes were "on the spot" decisions, ie, wet floors not previously detected, and such.  ******* paid for all of the change orders without hesitation and often without being asked for the payment.  

    I will be glad to install the microwave at no additional charge , and perform other "punch-list" items within reason.  I will send another Estimator to meet with ******* for this.

    He knows that he is in the wrong and he would NOT let the people he has working for him leave his own house the way they left mine.  Phone call logs, text messages, and emails tell the truth down to him even installing the wrong stuff.  I do not want him or his colleagues back at my resident to ruin anymore of my drywall, cabinets, etc.  There are low income housing that has better quality work than the work that Domain provides.
