      Concrete Dreams of Central Ohio performed work at my house on July 13-14,2023 (tore out a wood deck & poured a patio). I paid $8,000 on 7/14/23. I contacted owner ****** ***** several days later regarding concerns, then again *** later as I awaited the patio to turn white (it never did). Lots of texts traded, the concrete was looked at by ***** Concrete (never by ****** w/the exception of the photos I texted), then finally on 11/9/23 I received an email from ****** stating the patio would be torn out and replaced in Spring 2024 (at no cost to me). Beginning in early Mar 2024, I started reaching out to ****** regarding timing. He replied on 3/29 he'd get back to me. On 4/15 he texted he'd have a date to get it replaced. More follow-ups then finally on 5/1 he stated "guaranteed next week." On 5/10 he texted "Wed 8am." It rained; I followed up for wks, he finally replied 5/28 saying he'd get back to me. Lots of texts, back and forth, but he committed to be out to replace the patio on 6/20, then again on 6/26. No shows. Then 6/28 he texted "I'm gonna come out there next Tue after the 4th to cut that slab out and get it hauled out." Then said July *****. On 7/11 he texted "I'll be dropping off equipment this afternoon." No show again. No word back after repeated texts/calls. Finally he responded to an email on 7/26: "I see at this time no reason to replace the concrete, its a good job." The patio looks the same as when it was poured. I have been unable to finish my landscaping around the patio as I've been waiting since Spring for the work to be done per the email ****** sent. He promised repeatedly he'd be out to replace it all summer; I repeatedly adjusted my schedule to ensure I'd be home, then a no show - 4 times! I have all the text messages and email communications to share. I'd appreciate any help you can provide as he has not replied to any of my texts, calls or emails since 7/26/2024.
