The inground pool was installed in Sept, 2022, but not opened and used until the following Spring of 2023. ISSUE #1: By early August of 2023, the pool was leaking. It was determined that it was leaking around the lights. The problem was addressed by removing 2 of the lights and using silicone to "glue" them back into place. This method failed. It was then determined that the back fill had shifted and the conduit underground had cracked, leading to the leak. Upon digging, it was noted that there was at least 2 -3 inches of settling and that sand was used to backfill, instead of the standard pea gravel material. In January of 2024, they dug up the yard to expose the problem. After coming back 4 or 5 more times, they told me that they could not fix the problem (and left the hole in my yard for 6 months). In June of 2024, I found someone to fix this problem and communicated with ***** (CM Pools owner). He agreed to have this person fix the problem and he would then pay them. The person fixed the leak and the light. ***** did not pay him after 2 reminders and has still not paid as of today (10/22/2024).ISSUE #2: The liner was not installed properly and does not adhere smoothly to one end of the pool. It pulls and leaves space between the liner and the step and the shallow side of the pool which spans the entire shallow end of the pool. Again, ***** promised to fix this multiple times, but never did. ISSUE #3: There are 3 areas in the vermiculite where there are deep foot prints, which make the liner not smooth and level. This should have been smoothed before the liner was ever installed. Poor workmanship.ISSUE #4: When in the pool and touching the coping (around the pool) and upon exiting the pool and touching the handrail, there is a quick "shock" - apparently the grounding wire was not installed properly around the pool and around the ladders and handrail.
