BUY BEWARE??We bought a 2023 Keystone Residence. We get it home and first thing was one of the ** units didnt work, the toilet leaked and one of the cabinet doors was broke. When buying a brand new camper we expected no issues. Filed a claim and yes our warranty covered it. They wouldnt send anyone to fix the issues. I had to find a license repairman to fix everything. We also paid extra for the ceramic coating. With that I was told that just simply spray off the camper and it will come clean. That was a lie!!! Also was told that they would fill both propane tanks, which also was a lie!!! They lied about everything. I will never buy anything from them again. Now my shower door is broken and once again they will not come to fix it. I now have to find someone to repair it.

*******************, Back in April when you had issues we did not have a mobile service, which we go over when customers come in to learn how to use their new unit and is on a quick reference handout we give to everyone. When customers would call in needing mobile service we would explain that we didn't have a mobile service van and would give customers names of some people in the area that we knew did provide this service. We are currently in the process of setting up a van to start providing this service hence the miscommunication from yesterday's conversation with my service advisor. My advisor thought you were referring to extended service repairs and there is a specific process for that which is different from mfg. warranty processes. Based on the conversation this morning, I believe we have a mutually agreed to action plan so please keep in contact with me so we can assist you in getting the issue with the shower door resolved. In the future please ask to talk to a manager to address frustrations that you don't feel like our frontline staff are addressing. It could just be a simple misunderstanding that can be addressed in that single phone call.

Buyer Beware My wife bought a pop-up camper in April 2024 for ~$6k, our first camping purchase. She asked the salesman if her Jeep could tow it, and he assured her it could. Later, we discovered the Jeep couldn't handle the camper. The salesman then offered to install a hitch on our van for ~$800, which my wife agreed to since the van could tow the camper. We decided to buy it. After bringing the camper home, we didn't open it for a month due to bad weather. When we finally did, it wouldn't stay open. It took two days of phone tag to reach a manager, Tim, who said, "the camper was sold as is," and claimed it was opened during the sale. My wife confirmed it was never opened, implying it was faulty from the start. We reluctantly took the camper back to the dealer and were referred to a technician. After a few weeks, the dealer confirmed the gearbox mechanism was broken and replaced it at no charge, but only after initial resistance and the manager's comment, "we'll look at it but can't make any promises." They provided an invoice (not billed to us) showing the repair cost of ~$2k to emphasize their effort. When prepping the camper for our first trip, we found only one inside electrical outlet worked. We decided to fix this ourselves, as hauling the trailer back again was too burdensome, and the dealer required the camper to be on their lot for any repairs. Though the dealer fixed the gearbox issue, the initial pushback and suspicious behavior toward us, first-time customers, was frustrating. If you buy from this dealer, ensure they check everything thoroughly before purchasing to avoid potential shady tactics. We won't be returning.

**** ********* This is our second unit from RCD. We put a Deposit on a new Brinkley G4000 ********* and gave our salesman a list of issues, blown speakers off level stairs, missing fireplace remote and fireplace wouldn't work. 10 days later we finalized the deal but no work had been done, and more things were broken. the main control was broke an exterior door was bent due to an employee setting on it because breakers were not working and another exterior door was scratched. 6 weeks later all was supposedly fixed after being told it would be only a couple weeks. Went to pick it up and the damaged door wasn't fixed but they replaced the non damaged door on the other side. Someone had gotten excited with caulkingbas it was all over the graphics around the door. Their answer for the broken door was to remove some screw so they didnt rub the frame. No managers were available, to talk to us, Nobody cared how much the 6 weeks of it setting there cost me. I was told I could take it and bring it back or go to another dealer in Texas for the door repair. Had to cancel an event next week which cost me $2,0000 which they were aware I had 7 weeks ago. Got me to pay for it in March so they could get it off their dime and than I didn't matter cause they had my money. Worse than used car salesman, I Won't but toilet paper here again.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!Broken transmission and multitude of other problems, bought used and was under the impression that all was good but some very minor things,I discovered that the leak detector was under plugged in an effort to silence the alarm that was continuously would chirp. Then the heater didn't work, so after chasing that problem down, the dealer sent me out a limit switch. Thanks but since the transmission went out at only 63kafter running out of propane there is no way to get more.....? I still haven't worked out the problems with getting the water pump to work. The steps don't open freely, the door leaks, and from the recitest in the RV looks like it was taken out for a party and well the toilet is still got clogged issues so word of the wise if your buying new maybe good but used well no don't buy it until your independent person can check it all out. I know it was as is, but with the understanding if it's on the front lot it ,was "certified" used in great shape. Asking 12500 for something with missing table chairs and couch. I sold all I own for this. And have trusted this company for years but not now . Buyer beware!

Bought a brand new 2023 Jayco Jayfeather 24RL camper there in 2022, my salesman told me they would include the jayport with it. After I signed the papers he said that unit don’t have the jayport. Then I started having some HVAC issues they had it for 3 months to do repairs. After 2 weeks in service, I asked the GM if we could turn the camper back in since we are having issues for another camper similar to the one we purchased just a little bigger. His response was you will take a $10,000 loss.. Needless to say, if you have issues with your camper or you was promised something make sure it’s all wrote down. Thanks RCD, you lost my business, take care of your customers like you have in the past.

Mr. Lucas did purchase a new Jayco from us in November of 2022. He brought his unit back for some warranty work that we needed to research and order parts for in December of 2022. Those repairs were completed first of March 2023. During that time Mr. Lucas did inquire about turning the camper back in. He was assured that his unit came with a 2 year warranty and that the issues would be resolved for him, but turning the camper back in was not a viable option. RCD has not seen the unit back in for service since March 2023 and since that time Mr. Lucas has been in contact with our Hebron and Delaware locations working on multiple units to trade his in on. It is upsetting that Mr. Lucas is not happy with RCD or his unit, but we have done what we could to resolve his issues as timely as possible.

We bought a brand new 5th wheel camper in August.... the fridge quit working in October. We bought a warranty because we told the salesman, we have permanent campsite and we'd have no way of getting it to Delaware if it needed work done, we had to get it delivered when we bought it, and he's like then this is what you need, they'll come to you. Turns out that he failed to mention that the warranty he sold us doesn't start until August 2024 and we would still have to take it to Delaware for the first year. Our other option was to have it fixed by a Forest River certified repair tech, pay for it ourselves and get reimbursed by Forest River but the closest tech is in Granville, won't come to Mansfield and said hates dealing wirh Forest River... so that means we have to get the fridge fixed ourselves or buy a new one.. If you go to RCD in Delaware make sure you can take your camper in for warranty work. Don't listen to Eric when he says you'll have nothing to worry about because we most definitely do!

Camper is less than 6 weeks old, major defect, blown propane regulator, they want me to wait 2 months for them to start looking at it! Over $20K spent and they want me to let it sit all summer! If I was only going to get to use it 2 times I would have just rented one! A mechanic in ther shop told me over the phone that they replace regulators all the time because they are faulty, so they sold it to me knowing it would go bad!

The propane regulator went bad on your camper and is being covered under warranty. As our tech told you, we do replace regulators pretty often and we definitely can't control when one might go bad. The Service Advisor you have been talking to will be reaching out to schedule a time for you to come by so we can replace. It is a very quick fix and we should have you out within an hour. Please reach out if there are other problems I'm missing.

This is the first camper we have ever purchased so we did not know what to expect. They gave us a good briefing on how everything works when we picked it up. The following are issues that are concerns of mine. 1. The camper had metal shavings in the window ***** and floor. 2. The camper was still winterized so I had to flush the system before I could use it. 3. There was a mix up on the cost of adding a backup camera. I thought it was included in our loan, but it wasn't so I had to pay for it separately. Also the backup camera installation charge was over $250 for a camper already wired for one. After that, they didn't bother to pair the camera with the monitor. Luckily, one of the salesmen helped me to get it working. 4. In researching the camper, I wanted to make sure I got the correct hitch receiver. *** told me the heighth of the ball should be 18 inches off the ground. They were wrong. Should be 20. Had to purchase another receiver.Overall this has been a real learning experience, but I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We 100% regret spending a significant amount of money on a brand new Jayco whitehawk through RCD **. The ** is garbage, service has been poor to say the least. We have had to go 2.5 hours out of our way for repairs multiple times and we just have to keep bringing it back for service every time we go on a trip because of new found issues. Ive brought up the issue of travel time/distance to bring the camper for service with service manager in the past, the answer is usually an apology with no follow up action. We have had to come back for so many repairs in 3-4 months that we are filing a report with the attorney general to claim as a lemon.

I do understand the frustration of the traveling in for service work. We try hard at the time of purchase to let customers know that they ARE going to have warranty issues and that we DO NOT have a mobile service unit so you will have to bring the unit back to us for diagnosis and repair. During the poker run at the time of pick-up we would have given you a quick reference post card that included this very information along with verbally explaining this information. I reviewed the work orders for this unit and if I am reading your review correctly, these work orders support your comment that these are new issues not issues that we failed to resolve. I have been unable to identify multiple work orders with the same issue on them. Again I do understand the frustration of spending fuel money on service work instead of on fun. I understand the frustration of the lost time waiting on parts/repairs. Unfortunately, I am not sure what my team and I could do different as these are manufacturing issues not RCD RV workmanship issues. If you would like to discuss further please reach out to the dealership.Thank you
