On 12/29/2024 2 of my dogs were taken to AllTails R Waggin which my wife worked at as a dog groomer until this incident occurred for boarding while we were on vacation. One 10 year old white male American Pitbull (******) and one 6 year old blue American Pitbull (Titan). My wife left to pick them up on 1/5/2025 at approximately 11:00am and arrived back at the house at approximately 12:30pm. We immediately left after bringing the dogs in the house to go too Urgent Care Emergency room and then went and picked up our kids. After making it home at my daughter Jade (16 years old) noticed Oberon wasn't wanting to put weight on his left rear paw. After letting us know and further examining his paw we observed that his outmost toe was swollen at least double it's normal size as well as being extremely red and irritated. His quick was bruised purple in color on that nail and his dew claw was as well. My wife took pictures at this time. She took him took work with her on 1/6/2025 and talked to the businesses manager/ her boss ****. He looked at Oberon and she explained the time line of him being boarded at All Tails R Waggin. He told her that they would take him to the veterinarian. He asked if we wanted him to be taken care of at our veterinarian or if theirs would be OK. We told them theirs was fine in return he said they would take him later that day. Towards the end of my wife's work day nothing had been done so she asked again when they were planning on taking him. She was told once again that it would be taken care of when she was done grooming her last dog. When she finished up she was informed that one of the owners ***** and someone named ***** had decided not to take him to the veterinarian because we couldn't prove what happened to ******.

This is a video they supplied to me. They claim that when leaving kennel my wife hit him with door and caused it. Door looks like it hit back of his leg or **** to me and no indication from dog that something had caused him pain. If you look he is already limping. It's not as noticeable as after we got home but still obvious. Also if you zoom in his left foot outermost toe is bigger than all the rest from the swelling.

Letter from veterinarian staying that it most likely happened when he was boarded. As well as the video they claimed my wife caused it. As which veterinarian also stated that was not a possibility.

Attached is veterinarian report stating that injury most likely occurred during his stay at All Tails R Waggin. As well as video of what they claimed caused injury.  Veterinarian also ruled that to be a false statement.
