    I first had The Generator Guy in 2021. Always did a nice job and great to work with. I purchased his maintenance package which included me receiving texts whenever my generator was running. I paid him $620.78 on 6/18/2024 for 1 year of servicing. I noticed the first part of July I was not receiving my texts. I texted *****, no response. Last week I tried calling both of his numbers and they are out of service. So I looked him up and it states he is permanently closed. Without any notice to his customers. I would like a refund of my money.

    I paid 315.00 for 1 year service (2 generator check ups) but only received 1. I have emailed and called, but now his business is listed as permanently closed online. Requesting half of my service call money back

    We purchased a generator from The Generator Guy in 2021 for over $11,000 to help our office remain open should the power go out. The Generator Guy started out responsive and communicated regularly regarding parts challenges due to the pandemic. He then fell off the face of the Earth, stopped returning our phone calls or responding to our emails, and now won't respond to deliver the key to the generator box we purchased from him. We need the key to access the transfer switch so we can hire another company to get our generator working. This has turned into a nightmare...a very expensive nightmare.

    In August 2022, I hired the Generator Guy to install a brand new Generac 22kw generator and transfer switch. The guy was friendly and seemed like a small town business trying to do good for people. Hangs a lot on being a Veteran. The install was fine, other than using some of my tools and needing my assistance to get things done before the electrical inspector arrived. Was overall happy with the install. About a month and a half ago, the generator started failing to exercise each week. It was giving an over crank error, which means it tried to start but never started. I did my own research and found that this has been an issue for other people and a certain regulator was found to be the issue. I reached out to the Generator Guy and told him of my over crank error and failed exercises. He did not respond with any offer to check it out any type of recommendations. I then told him I believed it was this certain Regulator and asked if his plumber uses that regulator. He said yes that is the one he uses but he hasn’t had any issues with them. I told him he needs to at least come and diagnose the issue but I believe I should get a new regulator since this one is faulty. The Generator Guy has quit responding and has not offered any kind of remediation. It has been less than a year, The least someone should do, is stand behind their work. Even if it was coming out, determining the issue, then discussing what the next course of action should be.
