    We started business with Brandon M****** of PDF Builders, LLC on April 13 of 2022 with an estimate for a new fence, we received and started payment on the fence on April 28, 2022. He was very amenable with financing, allowing us to do 3 cash payments and use financing for part of the fence. We currently have $2170 paid towards the fence. In the month of May we did not have correspondence due to having a schedule of 6 weeks out for starting the installation. We were very patient with Brandon and he started to have complications with timing due to multiple projects going past their estimated time of completion as well. On June 3rd, I messaged Brandon via text stating that we had decided to cancel the project. He stated that he had already purchased the materials for the project and was unable to return the items. As he has multiple projects of the same stature this does not hold up as an excuse to not refund our money. He stated that he juggled projects around in order to fit us in earlier, but we had a family trauma that significantly put the fence as a last priority. We messaged Brandon on both my own and my wife’s phone, left him a voicemail and emails to both of his company emails in order to get a response. It is now late June and we have not heard from Brandon in two weeks. We would like the refund of $2170 and for him to make sure that the payment from ******** has not been used. We have the invoice attached to the complaint that shows no refund policy listed.

    Hey *****
    I apologize I haven't got back sooner. My son and I went to mammoth caves
    the 21st-26th. I am just back in town and at the office today. We don't
    offer deposits back but in this situation I will work with you guys.
    However it is frustrating to me because I've worked with you guys for 2
    years on this and have many hours on that alone, as well as offered
    interest free in house financing along with the back loan. We have also
    already purchased your materials which are not returnable from my
    wholesaler.
    We are looking to see how we can use those materials on other jobs.
    I will offer you $1400.00 back of the $2170.00 based on the mandy hours n
    visits already spent and the work to move materials around that we are
    stuck with.
    I would also ask that you remove your BBB complaint and any others.

    Our issue has not been resolved. The contractor is stating that he
    purchased materials and will not give back the full amount which cannot be
    true since we were told materials would be purchased 2 weeks out from
    install. If we never had an install date, why would materials be purchased?

    We do not refund deposits ever. However in this situation I did offer the purchaser $1400.00 of the $2170.00. That was solely based on the occured expenses from our end (time worked, admin fees, travel). The purchaser would not except so we will not be offering any deposit back. They will continue to have a credit with PDF Builders should they decide in the furture to use our services.
