    I’m extremely grateful that friends of mine referred Sal’s plumbing to me. I experienced a water leak in my home . I was impressed that Angel arrived within the timeframe he gave me. After reviewing my situation,he mentioned that he had several appointments. Since mine was an emergency, he would put my appointment first on his schedule . He showed some empathy for me. Angel Communicated with me the whole time with texts and while he was working here. The work was completed to my satisfaction and relieved a lot of stress that I was going through. I thank Angel and his brother Sal for their kind professionalism. I highly recommend Sal’s plumbing. They are a professional, knowledgeable, caring family owned business eager to please their customers.

    Had problem where furnace was turning off. Called Sal's 1/9/2025. They came out and said there is no issue with furnace. Charged $188 for service call and flame sensor cleaning. Problem persisted- furnace would turn off from time to time and require it be reset to run. Called Sal's to come back and diagnose the issue on 2/10/2025. They wanted to charge another service fee as it had been 31 days and their policy is at 30 days. Called a different HVAC provider. They identified the problem as a pressure switch. They replaced said pressure switch and cleaned out furnace. They also identified that the flame sensor had "definitely not been cleaned recently." This cost $427 - however fixed the problem and the furnace works fine now.

    They have just started trying to cheat my elderly mother. I called and asked them to refund her deposit; but, they chose not to respond to my call. After reading about the elderly people they are cheating, the least I can do is file formal complaints. Sad that they would dishonor themselves in this way.

    My furnace started blowing cool air about 2 weeks ago. The same tech has been out twice. I am a senior citizen. I am afraid Sal's is going cheat me on this furnace. I have been a long-time customer... I don't know what to do. The tech suggested I get space heaters and the problem was my house, even though the furnace had worked for over 4 years. I am so disappointed. I am getting sick from the cold... I can't get anyone to help me.

    Sal's definitely caused some issues with me and my family and I don't feel it was acceptable in any way. I had to get a new furnace last November and was referred to Sal's so we went with them. During the install we faced issues with how they put the furnace in. The cut pieces on the intake piping and left it messed up. They decided to use our personal towels we had in the basement to wipe their mess and basically destroy our towels. They left cut pieces lying around in my basement for us to find and clean up on our own. I had to have a supervisor come out and fix the install issues that we had. He did apologize and stated that he would give us a free inspection the next year which just happened yesterday and some filters for the furnace. Yesterday after we got the inspection done the guy said they weren't giving us any filters and we needed to talk to someone else then to call the office. I decided to call the office and spoke to a guy who stated his name was Jack and that we part owner of the company. I tried to talk to him regarding my property being damaged and why they were to give me filters in exchange for what happened and said he wasn't going to do that so I told him I would then send a bill for stuff that needed to be reimbursed because of his workers damaging my property. He then said ok and that he would have them dropped off. Jack stated to not call Sal's again as he isn't going to deal with me or my familly again and if I had a problem with it then to have a lawyer take over. How can you say that to a family that purchased from you, where your company employees damaged property and then the furnace install had to be inspected and fixed twice. Now you tell me to go somewhere else because you wanna hide from your mistakes. Maybe legal action should be taken if you can't own up and fix the issues you have caused.

    BEWARE of the waiver of refund which results in a cancellation forfeiting your deposit. I was pressured into getting a new furnace when my current one was still under warranty. I was successful in getting a refund, but it was not easy to do. I was then able to get my furnace repaired, by a different company, for much less than the cost of the new one. Be careful and do your research before taking action.

    Sal's Heating etc. replaced my air conditioner and furnace and I was extremely please with their service. Skip and the technicians that put in both units were very professional. They arrived on time, did not mind my barking dog (as she was protecting her home) had the air on promptly (it was one of the hot and humid days) and the house was cooled down by the evening. I was also impressed that they actually clean up after they are finished. Very please with their installation people and their service and would highly recommend them.

    Sal's Heating and Cooling should be ashamed to call themselves an actual business. They installed a heating and cooling system for me and it worked fine up until recently. The unit if 5 years old so not old at all. about a month and a half ago my thermostat stopped working. I called Sal's and they told me a technician would be out to my house. I took the day off work. Guess what? No tech showed. I called back and said the tech never showed, the lady I spoke with said if I wanted a tech to come that day it would be considered an after hours appt. and I would have to pay an additional fee. I said no. I can schedule a different day. But mind you I missed a day of work for nothing. I schedule for another day. They give me a time slot I ask a family member to be at my house at said time. I get a call from the tech. an hour before said saying they're in my driveway. No one is at my house. My elderly mother had to leave an appt. so that the tech wouldn't leave. I ended up needing an new thermostat. I called Sal's and asked about my warranty since they did the initial install. Nobody knew anything and I was transferred around for about a half hour. On top of that while I was frustrated on the phone some of the employees were giggling and laughing at me in the background I wasn't home when the new thermostat was installed and when I got home my thermostat had error codes on it. I called Sal's again to ask what the codes were and why they were on there no one knew. Another tech had to come out and "fix it". Now I have 4 error codes on my thermostat and Sal's is stating that no one will come out to fix my thermostat unless I take down my previous bad review and replace it with good reviews. They must be insane. My experience has not been good and honestly that is threatening to say the least. SHAME ON YOU SAL'S HEATING AND COOLING. YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Received a deal from Lowe’s for a tune up special through Sal’s. Scheduled said first available was 2-1/2 months away. Tech Husni Ahmad shows up 2/7/24 and spends 20 minutes looking at the furnace. Calls us downstairs to tell us that it’s leaking refrigerant and that multiple parts were wrong to the point it was unsafe and needed replaced. Especially the inducer motor which was testing at 2.24 amps and should only be 0.47. Then heavily tried to push a $12k replacement on us. Kept saying we wanted an estimate sent to us and we’d review. Continued to push us to the point we flat out said no and that we’d be in touch if we changed our minds. Called a different company for a second opinion. They showed up same day and spent over an hour looking and testing. He shows me all of his results and says there is nothing wrong. This tech confirms the inducer is at 2.24 but then shows me the tag on the front saying it should be 2.35. Not the 0.47 Sal’s said. The Sal’s tech never even cleaned or tuned up anything. It all had to be cleaned by the second company/ tech. Second tech also said that the quote from Sal’s was likely wrong since nothing was even measured and seemed like it would extremely oversized for our home. Stay far away from Sal’s. They won’t actually clean or tune up anything. They’ll just look at your current furnace and say it’s dangerous to try and scare you into a sale. Absolutely ridiculous that a company will lie straight to your face and try to scare you by saying you run the risk of a fire if you don’t do it. And then pressure you for 30 minutes until you tell them NO and would call if we wanted their business to work on our home. All of this while being told “well I’m not a salesman”. Nothing but snake oil salesmen who don’t do what they’re contracted to do

    We've used Sal's to replace our furnace and a hot water tank. Recently, there was a "noise" coming from the furnace when the blower kicked on. We called, they came out same day and took care of the issue. They did a complete inspection and even changed the batteries in the thermostat while they were here. As in previous experiences with Sal's, they were on time, courteous, knowledgeable and got the job done. We'd recommend Sal's every time. Pat G
