I have purchased saddles from this company before. The company is at the Quarter Horse Congress yearly. I had trust in the business. I was interested in another saddle. At the Quarter Horse Congress I went to the Australian Saddle Company and picked a saddle I would like to purchase and the owner was to get back to me if the saddle was in stock and never did.

I also had a saddle I wanted to sell, and the owner agreed to attempt to sell the saddle during Quarter Horse Congress on October 10th, 2022. I was not smart, and I did not get a bill of sell or have anything other than a verbal agreement. I had others with me when I dropped off the saddle. I have attempted to email, call and text the owner to see if the saddle was sold and if not I could come and get it or wait a little longer. I emailed on 10/24/22 and texted November 2nd and called November 7th. I feel I will not be getting a response.

Of course after this happened I have been told by friends at Quarter Horse Congress that the owner has done similar things before and they would never buy from the business.

I am totally surprised by this complaint,  upon reading this complaint, I immediately called ***** and left a voice message, I also texted her, In the voicemail I asked how how she would like to proceed, I just got in the saddle that she desired, I am waiting on her further instructions as to how she would like me to proceed. I still have possession of her used saddle. I was not successful at selling it at Quarterhorse Congress, I have it with me at the Equine Affaire in Massachusetts, I will not attempt to sell it here, until I get a decision from ***** on how she would like me to proceed.

I am extremely surprised by her statement, that her friend had problems with the owner in the past, I am not aware of this, unless she is talking about the previous owner prior to 2017.
