- Additional Info:Dayton Business Interiors has reported that their company's name and address is being used as part of a check scam. Consumers have reported that they are receiving fraudulent checks that appear to have come from Dayton Business Interiors. The fraudulent checks are not from this company. The checks are accompanied by a letter instructing the recipient to contact a "Financial & Payment Consultant" by phone. The phone number the recipient is to call is from Ontario, Canada.
If you receive a check with an unsolicited offer, be cautious because it may be counterfeit. Contact the financial institution to verify its legitimacy. Be suspicious if you're asked to cash or deposit the check and return part of the money.
