    Bought supposedly 3 fumehoods mid year and received in August 2022 for CAD 22 ,432.35 paid through paypal-we are aware that we are buying used equipment but it is clear that repainting will be done so that at least it will look clean and presentable. The items arrived as incomplete 2 sets of fumehoods only, with dents and cracks and have a lot of missing parts-details is on thr attachments

    Units got damaged during shipping. I told them to file a shipping claim and they refused to. They refused to return the product and the 15 days to return is past. They are not being reasonable to a resolution and they did a charge back with their credit card.

    Business stated the consumer filed a chargeback against the business back in August, and their credit card company ruled in the business favor today.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    The items were not damage during shipment - the file i have previously sent shows that the items were properly crated, however,  even with the proper packaging, it is evident that the items were shipped iin damaged conditions.  

    The credit card company has not returned our money so again, what the seller is claiming is untrue.

    As for sending the items back within 15 days, we were negotiating how to dealt with the damaged items and before the 15 days expiry of return, no settlement has been reached yet

    which means they were notified ahead of time that the item were received in an unsatisfactory condition - such damages were not disclose by the seller - they were only showing part of the

    picture where the items are in good condition and hid all the damage - we were promised to have the item repainted but it seems like it was not even completed
