    My family had done business (and spent thousands of dollars) with Mike's Dockside Service for decades, but after dealing with them on a recent issue that was entirely their fault, I will NEVER do business with them again. In the fall of 2021, we had agreed that Mike's Dockside would provide an ESTIMATE for replacing the front/back seat assembly in my boat. In July 2022, they called to tell me they had ordered the seats and removed my old seats from my boat. Because I didn't put my boat in the water in 2022, I had no knowledge about any of this. Not only did Mike's Dockside purchase new seats and remove my old seats without my knowledge or consent, they selected a color for the new seats that I would have never chosen. Because I always had a great relationship with the Service Manager and his wife (who also works for the business), I wasn't prepared for their disgusting, unprofessional and rude behavior toward me, despite the fact that they caused the problem. I refused the new seats because of the color, but offered to have them installed at a discount. The Service Manager literally yelled at me and my 85-year-old father when we stopped in the shop because they quit answering my calls. The emails I received from the Service Manager were even worse. To top it off, they refused to bring the old seats to where the boat is located (two miles away) and re-install them. They knew it would be more work for me to bring my boat to them, but they just wanted to make the experience as awful as possible. I don't know what's happening at Mike's Dockside Service. They used to be a reputable business, but I advise everyone to steer clear. They could have done the right thing, but chose to be horrible people about the problem they caused.
