  6 months in and our house is so much more livable! 2nd story was so hot in the summer, the AC would run all day and not be able to keep up. DES analyzed air flow, reconfigured some returns, played around with the fans, and put a whole lot of insulation in the attic. Total transformation. Did some stuff in the basement too to stop the drafts in the winter. Cleaned up and were pleasant to talk to. Very professional

  This is an outstanding company, with top notch service from the top down to the workers. They bring total competence to the task at hand and efficiently identified energy problems I was facing in my house and developed a written game plan as how to address. Ultimately able to resolve problems in the HVAC system's ability to keep up which had plagued this address for more than 25 years.

  We are a Museum in **********, Ohio. Our Building dates to 1810. We had several estimates for this work. Chris was the only contact person to personally inspect all area of the attic. Pricing was fair and considered our non profit status. Crew was effiecient, professional and courteous. Went above and beyond to make sure all areas of the old building were covered. The cleanup was great the only way we knew they were there was the reduction in our energy bills a month later.

  I had insulation installed by Dr Energy Saver and it has made a huge difference in my home! Much more comfortable now. The team was super kind and professional. Highly recommend!

  I had my air ducts cleaned and was told I had a break beneath my bedroom. A friend told me about energy saver so I had them inspect my air duct. He was very professional and thorough and explained his findings. I was so glad to hear him say everything was good. My house is on a slab so you can imagine what a relief it was to hear my air duct had no problems. I highly recommend Dr. Energy.

  Everyone with this company was amazing from start to finish. We feel a massive difference within our home. Biggest difference being in our sunroom. All the information and knowledge shared was greatly appreciated! They crew worked well together and kept things as clean as possible. When clean up time came I was surprised at how well and fast they did it. Would highly recommend this team!

  I’m incredibly thankful to Chris S****** and DES for drastically improving my living situation. My home is drastically more comfortable, my energy bills are lower, and the value of my home has increased in a way that’s more durable than a new appliance or a few new windows. As a relatively new homeowner, I also feel that I have a much better understanding of how conditioned air moves throughout my house and what to look for when examining the insulation/ductwork/etc in a future home. In my opinion, this is the only way to go if you want results, and if you want to work with a professional company that can guarantee quality service. My house is a 1940s Cape Cod, with a 2nd story that was unlivable in the summer/winter. With only one supply vent, no air return, and (more importantly) old useless fiberglass from its original construction, the temperature mimicked outdoor temps and allowed conditioned air from the lower level to escape as well. My energy bills were incredibly high, and the usable sq footage of the home was limited to the 1st floor. After I requested a quote, Chris walked me through the entire house, listened to my concerns, verified why I was having the problems, and explained every potential solution in detail. Within 24 hrs I had received a similarly detailed proposal outlining the work needed and the associated costs. Had I not moved forward with the proposal, I still probably would have come out ahead, as I basically got a free lesson on thermal envelopes and how air moves throughout a home. Luckily I did move forward, and they were able to schedule the service within only a few weeks. After a month or so, I contacted Chris again because the 2nd story was still a few degrees colder than what I’d expected. When he came out the 2nd time, he found and fixed the issue (an air leak behind my thermostat, which made the furnace turn off too quickly), which brought my satisfaction with the work from 90% to 100%.

  DES just insulated our 1940s era Cape Cod in Cincinnati. They were professional, responsive, prompt and very knowledgeable throughout the process. The insulation job looks great and we love the storage deck that they built in our previously un-usable attic space. Would 100% recommend!

  Cannot express enough how pleased we were with DES! They were thorough, friendly, reasonably priced, and left our house cleaner than it was when they arrived. We have already noticed a difference in the temperature of our home, the work was completed yesterday. They’re honest and didn’t try to sell us on extra things just to make a buck. That was a breath of fresh air after another company tried to scare us into spending almost double for 1/6 of the work DES completed. Highly recommend!!

  Those guys were awesome. They did everything I was told they would do. ***** took pictures during the insulation removal process and during the installation process. They cleaned the job site when the work was done.I enjoyed watching these guys working together as a team. No one slacked off for a second and they each displayed genuine initiative. It reminded me of my Army days.I dont know their names, other than *****, but they represented DES in a positive and professional manner.
