On 3/20/25 ******* *******, the owner of J. ******* Auto Sales, LLC agreed to sale me a 2008 Dodge Caliber having 96k-97k miles for an out the door price of $4500. There were a couple very minor repair things that Mr. ******* agreed to have fixed along with having a second key made for the car. Mr. ******* asked me to give him until 3/26/25 to have the extra key made and to have the minor repairs fixed. Mr. ******* guarantee me that he wouldn't sale the car to someone else and that I should expect to pick up the car after completion of the transaction on 3/27/25. On 3/22/25 Mr ******* text me and confirmed that the extra key and repairs would be made on or before 3/26/25 and thus the car would be ready for pick up on 3/27/25. However, on 3/24/25 Mr ******* text me stating that he was not going to have an extra key made and he was going to sell the car to someone else. As soon as I received Mr *******'s text, I called him via my phone and was rudely told that he was selling the car to someone else and then hung up the phone on me. From this experience, I feel that Mr. ******* broke the agreement to sell me the car and instead decided to sell the car to someone else for a slightly beater deal / higher price. The asking price of the car was $4495.00 before tax, title, licensing fees and the expense of having an extra key made and fix a couple very minor issues. I feel the car ended up being sold to someone who didn't request to have an extra key made or have the couple of minor repairs made. I feel Mr ******* is not operating an honest business. Mr. ******* and I entered into a deal that was a completely done deal and I am asking for the BBB to help me to get Mr ******* to honor the deal he made with me which is to sell me the 2008 Dodge Caliber for the out the door price of $4500.
