    Put a down payment for this company to do my flooring (1400 sq ft) He was going to charge me 2500 to do it all. He required $800 down payment. After a few days of me helping and providing the tools. He sent me a text saying he was going to go hunting before coming over. And then never came over then. The next day said he was here for 20 mins and no one answered. So he left. After that I decided to do some of the flooring then he backed out of the job and went to another. After I finished the flooring I asked him if I could have some money back. He did 147 sq ft. His original asking price was $4 a sq ft and he charged me $2. So if I was to charge him his original it would only have came out to 500 a sq ft so he took my money and ran! Was very unprofessional after I confronted him

    I went to start flooring at ****’s house got started and I quoted him to just lay his flooring because it was a buddy helping a buddy we went to high school together so I was helping a old friend. This was not a signed contract job at all. He put $800.00 down out of $2500.00. So we get started and everything is fine I told him I was going hunting on Monday and he said no worries not a big deal I texted him and told him I had shot a deer and I wasn’t going to be there that day his wife was very mad and unhappy but **** was fine he said it was all good and not to worry about it because I would be there the next morning. So when I arrived the next morning I got there about 15 minutes early so I went up knocked on the door and nobody answered so I sat in my truck I called him a few times and got no answer and I went back up to the door and knocked again and got no answer again so I sent him a text stating that I was less I g and going to another job site. He finally woke up and replied saying once again not a big deal it was his fault and apologized. That same day he stated he was going to start doing the living room floor just to try to help out to get his price lowered and I was okay with that. Then that evening he had text me basically wanting me to come back to the house in a day or two just to hangout as buddies and keep him company while he did the kitchen floor on his own asked me how much I charge an hr and I had told him and it was left at that. He had told me to go ahead and do my other job site because he knew I wasn’t going to be making money and that he would finish the flooring himself. Now when we started I was completely unaware that I would be removing the carpet and trim and so fourth because that was supposed to be done he had been harassing me about this for a couple of weeks now giving false information on Facebook Google and now here if needed I can provide pictures and screenshot of our messaging with him and I thank you

    He was aware of ripping the carpet out and he didn't inform me he wasn't coming he informed my wife who had nothing to do with this agreement here are a few screenshots:

    Yes you were completely aware of me going hunting that morning. I have texts from you also saying not a big deal nice deer blah blah blah I will not continue dragging this on and on. **** u decided to finish the floor out yourself I told you an hourly price for me “to keep you company” you said “not bad” never once told me to be there you told me to go do my other jobs because of money which was fine I understand it. Just because you back out of it does not mean you get your money back at all. If needed I will provide you with all the screenshots in all of our texts. I know what is there and what to do. You wanted to finish your flooring that’s your choice I did the “hard part” that you did not want to do when I left everything was great never have you called me to have me come fix something pulling apart you have just tried to run me and my company in the ground so for that I will no longer be in contact with you the harassment stops now thanks.

    In reguard to never contacting him about coming over again here is a picture of the message. And in regards of the flooring he was informed about the flooring and over a phone call he stated "all you have to do is snap it together" I should have to do that with the work that he DID do.
