    Called to get a quote to Have a ridge cap replaced, when they came out to perform the work they called and told me the price was wrong and that it would be $900 more to have replaced, after work was completed the ridge cap leaks worse then before, contact barns unlimited and was told this would be resolved 4 months later still hasn’t been resolved, resulting in water damage to my property.

    We completed the project as contracted. We signed a contract to replace 48' of ridge on an existing building on the customers property. The customer told us it was standard width ridge. The entire project was originally sold for $350.00.

    When we arrived to change the ridge, we discovered that the ridge was not standard and would require a custom oversized ridge. The customer was contacted and told that it would be an additional $350.00 for the oversized ridge. The customer approved the charge (which now totalled $700.00 in total) and we came back at a later date to change the ridge. We did not charge the customer for the additional trip, only the additional material needed.

    This is the 1st that I am hearing that there is additional leaking issues or concerns by the customer. We were not hired to diagnose and find leaks on a roof, only to replace a ridge cap, which we did. It would have been helpful if the customer had contacted our office directly if there were concerns with our work. Our direct office number is ************. We are open Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I reached out to barns unlimited representative “***” on January 24th, he requested that I contacted *****, I called ***** minutes after I had texted the representative, when I signed the contract to perform the work with jimmy I made mention multiple times to have him come to my property and measure, he declined to measure, I stated to him it was a skylight ridge cap and have it all in text messages between me and “***” *****. Please resolve the issue I have phone records of me calling that I can provide if you want, since you want to deny me calling *****.
