    Don’t pay them until the work is complete, I know this sounds obvious as there are so many dishonest people in the world but the majority of our work was “thought” to be completed. Unfortunately over $1000 later our hot water handle is still broken and leaking more water than before. 75 year old customer completely lied to and taken advantage of. I only hope that they can figure out their issues so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Oh and when they say the manager will call you, don’t wait around for the call! Lol great service values.

    I have been a customer of ********************** for 5 years (2017 to present). That will no longer be the case. Based off of a video call estimate it was determined that a full toilet tank rebuild, along with replacing the water shutoff valve at the toilet in our master bath would likely need replaced. We worked with our home warranty company, IGS, to schedule Discount Drains as they are a preferred vendor. We schedule for Friday, 7/8, between 9a-1p. The scheduler asked if it be okay if they even arrived earlier (i.e., 8:15/8:30am). We said yes knowing it unlikely they would arrive at that time. What we didn't know is that Discount Drains would fail to arrive anywhere between 9a-12p which left us having to call for an update. We were told they were running behind on job and they would arrive in the afternoon. However, the provided NO IDEA as to when. We were left assuming they would arrive between 1p-5p. We were left unable to address any commitments for the day waiting for service. It was at 6pm we once again had to contact discount drains because we were left unnotified of where the technician was. My wife called and they said the tech would be there in 10 minutes. The call with Discount Drains ended at 6:21pm which meant they should have been there by 6:31. It was after 7pm and we were once again left with no update and had to call back yet again. The after hours rep couldn't identify where the tech was. The tech finally arrived at 7:18 pm. He came in ill-prepared. No bucket, no rags to mop up water. He leaked water all over our floor and I was left to have to clean it up and get him a bucket. He is on the phone right now with someone from his office and sounds incapable of finishing the job. I will not use Discount Drains again.
