1 starWent there last year to the emergency room because I was in a manic episode and scared. They told me weed was my problem, though I have a medical diagnosis as schizoeffective, and told me to go home, that I couldn't be admitted to the mental hospital. They are a DISGRACE! And should be ashamed of how they treated me. With absolute disgust. I have a legitimate history of mental illness and paranoia, to the point I've called the cops to ask them if I was being investigated.Review fromKevin M

5 starsStopped in the ER today for a pinched sciatic nerve, and was helped right away. Ashleigh was super kind and very helpful, and I’m sure I was difficult at some point with regards to the pain I was in. 10/10Review fromTimothy L

I came to this site on October of last year. I had given them my medical insurance information as well as the car insurance provider info. I thought everything was good to go when they decided to drop a bill for 6,000 dollars on me months later after the treatment. Their billing department failed to do their job and never sent me the bill in a timely manner after the treatment. This is disappointing and unethical behavior. Please retrain your billing department to get it right the first time. I will think twice before ever going back to Kettering for any form of treatment due to this.Angad S

Account was reviewed by billing team and found to be billed in a timely manner. This was auto accident related and responses were needed from two auto insurances and from the health insurance before account could be finalized. A billing statement was sent to patient in May and June 2024 after responses were received from the three insurances. A message was left for patient to return call if any questions.Review fromCaroline M

1 starI came in for extreme pain at 6:45 am on Monday May 13th 2024, but the doctor did not state his name or try to treat me. Instead, he scolded me and told me that I am 19 and that there cannot be anything wrong with me that justifies coming into the ER. He proceeded to tell me how it is a waste of time for him to try to treat me when he is an ER doctor who is there to treat patients with actual conditions. I understand what an ER is for and that the staff's time is valuable, but to talk down to me, a patient who came in for pain, is very unprofessional. I was not even there for 15 minutes, and I was belittled by the doctor. I may be young, but talking down to me and telling me I am wasting his time and scolded is unprofessional. Would this doctor have treated me differently if I was older and talked down to me like this? I will not come back to this facility, and I will be filing a complaint and fighting any bill I receive because I did not get the care or treated how a doctor should give care. After being belittled and told I was not worth being seen or treated i was released. I did not receive any discharge paperwork. I went to another hospital and was treated with respect and provided care. I know 19 is not an adult to this doctor, but to be lectured about wasting his time and not even being taken seriously is uncalled for.Review fromCherie S

5 starsThe ER in Springfield is amazing. Each and every person I saw starting from the main desk to the Dr was very kind thorough and informed. They checked me thoroughly and found a heart issue I've been going to I would highly recommend this ER to anyone in need. I had to go back twice in the same day and they did not make me feel foolish and treated me with the upmost respect both times. Springfield regional for many times with no answers. They made me feel very comfortable took their time explaining everything to me and actually listened to my concernsReview fromElizabeth P

1 starI have never known a Christian based practice to tell so many untruths as this one in my life. It is a very long story from start to finish but long story short, first appointment Doctor canceled on me because of my medication and then she was willing to see me once she found out that I had outside source prescribing me that medication and that's not what I needed her for so second appointment I made I scheduled on Portal and I canceled on Portal at least 48 hours in advance third appointment I had my daughter's buckle on her car seat broke when I was trying to take it out of my van for transportation and I called that morning and let them know my appointment wasn't until later on that afternoon okay well make another appointment transportation comes pick me up me and my daughters are on our way for some reason they decide to stop 40 minutes away from my appointment to pick up somebody else and take him home and then try to make me 30 or 40 minutes late to get to my appointment and I'm told I can't be seen my insurance company even called and talked to them and told them the exact reason and what was going on and that receptionist woman straight up lied on me and said that I had four no shows that is a lie!! And I don't appreciate lies like that being told where my health is concerned here I am with a bad heart COPD all kinds of things going on with me and they're going to lie on me to make it where I can't be seen there and I think it's because they didn't want to see me in the first place because I have so many health issues I know that's what it is so that being said I would appreciate someone higher up to reach out to me about this because fair is fair right is right and a lie is a lie a lie is very easy to distinguish from the truth so I would appreciate you reaching out to me!!Review fromAseel A

1 starTerrible, this facility really needs to be held accountable. My wife is currently pregnant. Two times we eat up an appointment online and their doctors clearly state “accepting new patients” and they always cancel a day before the appointment “our doctors don’t accept new patients”. Can’t believe this is a “health network”Review fromGeorgianna P

1 starMost of the information regarding my recent Kettering Hospital experience is on my BBB complaint from earlier today. I see from these recent reviews and from Google reviews that the patient care at Kettering has declined substantially. In fact, Kettering is not even responding to negative reviews anymore (probably overwhelmed). My care at Miami Valley South (when Kettering’s ER left me sitting in pain for 5 and 1/2 hours with high BP in stroke zone) was compassionate and appropriate. Do not risk your health by going to Kettering Hospital.Review fromBrad P

Kettering Hospital used to be a facility you could go to receive impeccable care, with caring physicians, and without the worry of issues that generally occur most hospitals. Over the last few years, sadly, Kettering health network has become more focused on “making money” first. The lack of staff has resulted in poor communication, rushing patient care, and focusing more on hurrying instead of taking their time and caring for patients. I can honestly say I’ve seen a drastic change in the level of care received at Kettering facilities. They do not take their time to listen to patients or address concerns of patients/family, which has resulted in worse patient care over the last few years. I have had 4–5 situations occurred to me at Kettering the last two years because their focus has shifted to making money, instead of providing the absolute best patient care. Again, they used to be incredible! I truly hope they actually take the time and put their patients first.Kettering Health
