      Unless you are a large customer They will give you really poor service I lost money on my homes because they screwed up deliveries and didnt deliver on time

      Terrible company from beginning to end. Never had a worse company to deal with. Slow on everything, which caused delays in construction. Very poor communication from all departments. Stress is increased 100x working with Carter Lumber. I couldnt cover their house wrap logo quickly enough.

      I went to Carters Lumber in Erie Pa. My husband and I had a small order so my husband used his debit card and used credit. The transaction said approved on one screen but blank on another. The manager went to get lunch so the whole store fell apart. The employee had to call him on his phone to make sure the transaction went through. The pregnant lady was very rude she compared our transaction to $118.000 transaction she did. She wanted me to call my bank to see if our transaction went through. The bank however did not answer in the middle of the day. The transaction did however go through. They never said thank you for coming in! Very Rude!

      Dont use this company. Do yourself a favor and use anyone else. Seriously. Charged us ****** more than initial bid and then tried to tell us that they were a commodity and owed us nothing. Also attempts at negotiating overage was met with rudeness and arrogance.

      Extremely Disappointed with the Carter Lumber *********************************************************** .Stay away from ordering any material from this merchant.I ordered windows and door in Dec 2021 with original delivery date of Mar 15, 2022 but I got only 25-30% material (Windows) delivered on this date. After that the struggle started, these guys keep giving dates one after the other and on the delivery date they would say your order is not going to be delivered. They gave Apr1 , Apr 12 , May 10, May 24 , May 31, June 7 and then June 17 and finally able to deliver on June 17 but still screen door is missing.On top of that when I opened credit card dispute then they came with a letter stating that I need to sign that in order to receive the pending delivery. This delay has caused so many problems like contractor leaving the job, hvac guy no more available , need of additional window but they said they cannot order additional window even though the need arised because of delay.They were never able to respond timely and have to send multiple reminder emails and request them to respond. All of the senior management was copied including the *** but still never received any help from anyone.Extremely bad experience.
