Company was paid $3200 for large stump removal. Neglect-Backyard was not propped with plywood to protect lawn from large stump removal. Left ruts, Torn up grass. Contract says not responsible but preventative damage maintenance should be done. After I contacted him, ***** threatened me with harassment and said, "You wanted tree stump removed, that is what you got!"

Mr ****** is partly correct that he paid me $3200, but for an emergency removal of a splitting tree, same day response. He was made fully aware that I was extremely busy and already booked up so we would need to bring my crane into his front yard and didn’t have a lot of extra time to do anything but to perform the removal, and that he wasn’t concerned about yard damage because the splitting tree was of utmost concern. After negotiating my price down significantly I also agreed to grind the stump in the backyard. There was absolutely no agreement to re-landscape his yard.  He paid us and was happy with the work originally, but then contacted me through txt days later demanding a partial refund since he had to rake part of his yard & got belligerent when I told him we were even up& I wasn’t refunding anything. At that point I told him he was harassing me with unwelcome messages. Mr ****** got the better end of the deal already & I’m not going to do any further business with him

I called this company to have a tree removed from my rental property I was told to send pictures on 3/29/23. I sent the pictures that evening, he responded the same evening stating that it was going to be an expensive job but he had to look at the actual tree before an estimate. He was coming in the morning to look at the tree. At 7:30 he called and said that he was going to do the job but he needed a $100 deposit before he could come out on a credit card. I told him that I just woke up and that I would get back with him in 10 minutes when I called back I didn't want to give the deposit without knowing what the maxium amount would be without knowing I could afford to pay for the job and I needed to know the most it was going to at which he told me it was going to be $2000 to $3000 but he could not divert his men to do this job without a deposit and he had his crane coming and wanted to get this done before the storm. I gave him the deposit so he could send his men a couple hours later a man showed up in a car. The gentleman siad the tree was 7ft in diameter when I told him it was 8ft. estimator said it was 80 ft high at that point they told me the job would $4500. I told them I didn't have that type of money and I would go to the bank to try and secure the amount needed. He called that evening. the credit union could not loan me the money and I informed him of that. I old him a received another estimate from another company and I needed my deposit back. He told me it was on file with him and I was not getting my deposit back. On his website it states free quotes

I refunded her deposit for the quote that I informed her was NOT free because she needed me to drop everything I was doing and run over to the east side to assess her issues. I gave her the $100 back a week ago that we agreed upon, wish I had never wasted my time trying to assist at this point
