I was experiencing flooding in my front yard, due to a main water pipe leakage. I was originally quoted at both $6900 to completely replace the pipe, or $2800 to repair the pipe. After speaking with The Eco Plumbers professionals, I was informed by them, that the repair will be enough to fix my flooding, $2800. On July 1st 2022, The Eco Plumbers came to repair the water leakage. They dug a hole for the repair and were on their way soon after. The same day I noticed more flooding in the exact same location. As I am not a professional in this field I gave it 2 weeks until I contacted The Eco Plumbers again. The Eco Plumbers came out with their 'Happiness Guaranteed Program' on August 8th, dug up their original hole and said their work is perfect and the flooding is coming from somewhere else on the same pipe. They clearly stated, "that the pipe could have easily broken in another spot during the water pressure test by the city (the same day), but said there is nothing they can do, because the city approved them." Afterwards, when filling up my hole, they completely ruined my front yard. The next day, August 9th" I call Eco Plumbers to speak with someone and they told me someone will contact me with 72 hours. However, when there is a main water pipe issue, the city gives a notice until they shut off the water. During this time, I contacted another plumbing service to fix their work. On August 11th, I spoke with an individual from Eco Plumbers who said there is nothing they can do because they did the work originally requested. There was never any communication with me that this repair (which again they told me is all I needed) could break something else within a few days. Due to Eco Plumbers trying to get me to pay for an entire second service, I believe I am part of a bait and switch or a process to get continued work. When speaking to a manager I was offered a discount of $1400 on a $6900 service to keep working with them, or simply a $200 refund to disappear.Business Response

Since there has been extensive communication between members of our team and you prior to this, it took me a little longer than normal to gather the information from our Care Team and get the right people involved to take a second look and find a solution. Our CEO and CFO were traveling all last week, which also impeded being able to get back to you more quickly.
It was requested that Chris W., reach back out to you to see if you were still in need of getting the balance of your water service line replaced. Chris felt certain you had proceeded with another company already, but he was tasked to confirm this. After confirming that your water service line was already replaced, you accepted our offer of a $1400 refund on the cost of services for the partial replacement performed earlier. This refund has already taken place earlier today. Please see the attached receipt.
We appreciate your feedback, as it will help us improve our communications and service processes. In the future, we would be grateful if you would consider using The Eco Plumbers again for plumbing, heating, cooling and drain services you may need for your home.

In November of 2021 I had a water softener/filtration and water heater installed.
There were issues with a partially blocked drain that the a/c unit was using. The drain could not be used for the filtration system so they used a bypass for it. They fully blocked the drain that the a/c was using so the bypass wouldn't shoot water out of that drain when the filtration system cycled. I was under the impression that the a/c was draining the same way the filtration was. It was not. They left the a/c drainage the way it was knowing full well that it was now blocked. When the summer came around it took awhile to notice but drainage from the a/c was going all over the floor of the a/c and water heater closet.
I can't use my a/c because the water is going everywhere. I have to stand by with a towel to cleanup the water. There is also water damage on the floor and part of the way. This situation was caused by negligence on the part of Eco Plumbers. You knew you blocked off the drain with a by pass but didn't provide a place for the a/c to drain to. You knew the a/c was an issue your installers told me that. I was left thinking the issue of the a/c drainage was resolved the same way as the water filtration, with the bypass .
I paid $8,209 for this and I am afraid that I will have to pay another company to fix your mistakes. All I really want is for you to fix this. For the record I did not have any issues at all regarding the a/c drainage before Eco Plumbers was involved.

I spoke with the manager about your concerns and through our service warranties and Happiness Guarantees, I am happy to confirm that our technician addressed the issues mentioned in this BBB complaint on July 5, 2022.
The A/C condensation line was rerouted into the pre-trap drain that was created when the Halo 5 was installed November 2021 to handle the regeneration stage.
And since the floor drain has a collapse, as evidenced by the mud and rocks seen when the drain tech cabled it, our technician capped the floor drain.Please confirm that we have addressed this to your satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because: I still have water damage because of your botched install. I'm not sure what the truth is but I listed what the installers told me at the time of install. I no longer have water all over my floor because the fixer did the work the installers said they were going to do but didn't. I asked my insurance for advice and they said get some estimates for the cost of repairs. I am in the process of doing that now. You should expect to receive some quotes.

I have a downspout that collects roof rain water and flushes it out in the yard, about 200 feet away from my home, and was blocked. Eco Plumbers visited my residence, saw the problem, documented and photographed the problem and gave me a $2000 estimate to solve the problem. On June 3rd, they visited my residence, and after 90 minutes of work, claimed the problem was fixed and left. They guaranteed their work for one year. During the next rain, the problem persisted. I called them back, they visited and gave me another quote of $1600 to fix the same problem. Bait and switch, bid up, call it what you may. So far, they have done less than 3 hours of total work (i have camera footage from my security system), charged me $2000 and not fixed the problem. This is downright crooked.Business Response

It is my understanding that work is already underway this morning (6/16/22) to add an extension to the buried end of the drainage pipe that ends in the ground. This extension will provide clear access for storm water to exit and drain into the creek at the back of your property. This warranty work is being provided at no additional charge.

Eco Plumbers was hired to install a water heater and sump pump in my home. On 01/05/22, the water heater was installed ($1,969).On 01/06/22 the sump pump and down spout was installed ($3,159).To install the sump pump, the tech had to dig up the concrete from the floor of my basement. Once the the sump pump was installed the tech stated that he would remove the pile of dirt and concrete after the City completed the inspection. The tech also left the sump pump uncovered. I was also told that the inspection for the the water heater and sump pump would be scheduled together. After several weeks went by without hearing from anyone about the inspection, I called Eco Plumbers and left a message. On 02/07/22 I received an email from the permit dept. at Eco stating that the city was now requiring a building permit for the sump pump and that they were working with the city to get the building permit as soon as possible. 0n 2/28/22 I received another email asking me when I could schedule the inspection. I requested the inspection be on 03//16/22. On 03/10/22, Eco Plumbers sent another email stating that I needed to complete a building affidavit. I signed it emailed it back. On 04/04/22 another tech came out and took pictures of the work that was done to submit to the City. It’s now June and I have not anything from Eco Plumbers. There’s still piles of dirt and concrete in the basement and no inspection completed. I feel like Eco Plumbers got their money and didn’t complete the work. I am very unhappy with this company.Business Response

Our team is requesting the inspection for Monday, 6/6/22. Our technician will wait for the inspector so that you can go to work, and after the inspector’s approval, this same technician will do the final cement work and clean up the job site debris.
For the refund details, Amanda shared that she will be speaking with the operations manager next week and will contact you no later than Friday, 6/10/22.

We had two plugs break underneath the sink. We called and received support. Job done but it was very expensive. The insurance adjusters were surprised we were billed $3,266.00. They said in over 20 plus years they never seen a bill so high. We feel deceived due to needing support and our child has 2 chronic medical conditions and could not investigate further.
