      The guy who handled my account, George, was great. Although the whole service was overpriced, I had no other choice since I needed a lot of the work on my hard drive. Everything I needed was recovered, so they did their job well.

      Overall, the service was expensive, but they did an excellent job recovering our data. Our agent, Katie, was incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful. Without her, we likely would have taken our business elsewhere. She responded quickly, provided detailed information, and answered all of our questions with patience. The only downside was the high cost, though that may be due to my lack of familiarity with data recovery pricing. The process also took longer than expected (once again probably due to my unfamiliarity with the process), but we were not in a rush, the main priority was getting our data back. We now have both our recovered data and our broken phone back and we are content with our experience. For clarification, Katie gets 5 stars and beyond, but the cost lowers the overall score to a 4.

      The service, the courtesy, the speed, and last but not least the quality of the service exceeded my expectations. I dropped in with a mobile drive without any visible data, like after formatting the drive. From the three processing speeds offered I chose the "expedited" version. Even though a couple of $ pricier, but I have to deal with less hours or days in mental stress. The technician (Dominic, in my care) was polite, attentive, gave helpful and accurate advice, was available when needed, either by phone or by email. Certainly, had a positive effect on my mental well-being. A wholehearted recommendation.

      Charged me an absolute fortune. Did not organize recovered files onto new hard drive as specified and discussed. Files on new hard drive confusing, unorganized and a disaster to go down multiple “rabbit holes” to try and figure out. I cannot even see if everything was even recovered and so far there are things missing that was the sole purpose for me trying to save. I regret using your company and feel completely swindled.

      Micah ******* was my case manager, and he was very professional and very helpful. Overall, I had a very good experience. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and when I had questions locating files after they had been recovered, their team walked me through it, even separating out what I needed and putting it in a separate file for me. I would definitely use them again.

      Worst Experience I Have Ever Had with any company Misleading Information: I was told that the data recovery process was almost complete, but after two months and calls, I was informed that no data could be recovered. It seems they either broke my hard drive or mishandled it during their attempts to repair it. Poor Customer Service: I called three times to inquire about when the recovery would be completed. Each time, I was promised a callback that never came, whether I spoke with customer service or the case manager. Pressure to Pay More: I was asked to pay extra to expedite the process after two months. After stating that I would file a complaint, I received an email saying that the data was not recoverable. Misleading 'No Data, No Cost' Policy: Their 'No Data, No Cost' policy is misleading. Instead of providing any remaining data or not charging me, they simply claimed that the data was not recoverable. Overpricing: The initial quote was very high. Even with a 50% discount, the final price was still excessive. I have seen discounts of up to 70% off the original quote, which indicates that the initial pricing is inflated. Excessive Shipping Fees: While shipping for inspection was free, the $40 fee to return the hard drive is excessive, especially for ***** 2-day shipping. Improper Handling of Property: My hard drive was returned without its outer casing. I am unsure why they wanted to keep it, but they should take better care of their customer's belongings.

      Despite being costly, I am very pleased with the overall service. Took nearly 2 months, however, they managed to get all my data back from my microSD card. Most of which I didn't even recall still having, as it turns out the card only displayed a small portion of what was actually there, due to the physical card starting to breakdown. Katie was always able to answer my questions along the way, great communication. Highly recommend this company.

      My HD died quickly and unexpectedly and SalvageData was able to recover the vast majority of the files, many of which are no longer readily available online The cost is well worth the results

      Hugh was responsive and professional. Transparent communication. Data was recovered. It would be nice to have more direct communication with the engineers.
