    Zero Stars. Purchased on 3/15. Called on 3/26. My order coincidentally shipped today. No shipping email was received. No shipment tracking number provided. Cant cancel my order since it shipped the same day I called. My guess would be this is not a real nursery. Dont bother with them.

    I placed an order May 13 which was supposed to ship out in 3 to 5 business days. Followed up May 25 and was told it would ship in 3 to 5 business days. On June 7 I asked for a refund and was told no but it should ship in 3 to 5 business days. It is now June 11 and I received another email saying it will be shipped in 3 to 5 business days. I do not believe I will ever receive this order, and have had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

    I ordered several plants from Spring Hill on April 8, 2024. It is May 20 and still no plants shipped or received. No word as to when they’ll be shipped but the shipping date keeps moving. As expected they send me emails advertising current specials. I considered ordering additional plants if they would not charge for shipping as they could be shipped with my unfulfilled order. The answer was no. I must pay additional shipping costs. Obviously they lost an order and a customer. I would not recommend Spring Hill nursery online to anyone.

    Terrible shipping timeline. I ordered April 15th and the shipping time was the next week by April 30th. It is May 6th and my shipping date has moved twice and is now expected to ship by May 15th. I hope my items get here in time to plant safely. Customer service is very unhelpful when I called.

    I ordered a hibiscus (bare root) from them on August 13th; order confirmation stated delivery by Oct. 19th. Fast forward to Nov. 7th - tracking still says error, no shipment created. I call customer service, and Im told its been shipped and it shouldve arrived by now. They refund me for their lost product via a gift card for future purchase with them - minus an adjustment fee. I ask what its for - they have no idea. She issues another gift certificate for the $3.95 fee, which has yet to arrive by email.

    I ordered 4 items from this company. The bare roots never showed life after several months, the begonia gave me 1 flower and never came back up. The Dahlia was the wrong ugly orange and yellow rather than shades of pink and the fern was smashed and died in my garden. They never refunded me after several emails. Don't buy from these people!

    I ordered a Japanese Maple tree in May and received it, bare root, in a 'dormant state'. (Still dormant in mid-May?) It's now the end of July and still no signs of growth. I've contacted them 3 times now, and they refuse to even respond to the last two attempts to get assistance. Not sure how they have a one-star average and BBB gives them a B rating. I just want my refund and I'll never buy from them again!

    Overcharged me and after 5 calls I’ve just given up as they insist my ****** statement is wrong Plant arrived half dead and FULL of fungus gnats. Avoid these people. They run 3 separate companies including Wayside gardens but all their plants come from the same place. Terrible customer service. Told something different every time

    ***** ****** The checks I'm sending are going to the wrong order. It should clear the oldest order first. This order was cancelled while I had a positive cash balance in my account. I had to tell them to pay what I owed on my first order before they send the refund. I don't want a refund!!!! I want my orders!!! I want my balance to go towards the order above. I am sending $175 per week. There should be no cancelling of orders! Please accept my checks and do no refund my money. I want the cancelled order as well as the new order being processed.

    I wouldn't give any stars if I could. I ordered 3 plants in March 2022. 2 came very late in the Summer and then the 3rd came dead. Was given a replacement date of October 2022 and now they say November when we will have snow. By then they will change it again until Spring. I want my plant NOW. I will NEVER do business with them again.
