    We used Kicking Ash Chimney Service for our masonry chimney repairs and for the purchase of a new Regency I-2500 wood burning insert. The crews were great and friendly. We did have a change order on that work with more damage than anticipated on the existing masonry chimney. We ended up working it out but both parties agreed that next time we need to get all the details agreed to before the work starts and in writing. Besides that minor issue, everything went great. After the stove was installed we should have had the installer walk us though all the details on how to light it and max temperatures and working ranges that it can handle. We have an existing wood burner in a garage and it works very differently than this unit. I would recommend that you have the installer start a fire for you and show you the finer workings of the unit, even if you already have (or had) an existing wood burner. There was some panic when smoke starting pouring in the house when trying to kindle the unit but we just didn't have enough windows open to allow it to draft correctly. Great company. Fair pricing. Kicking Ash really is interested in making the customer's happy and willing to admit it when they make a mistake. Like I said, get everything in writing and make it clear what you are buying before accepting any change order terms. I would definitely recommend them for your project. I will give them 5 stars even after some pricing confusion in the middle of the project, only because they did make it better.
