On May 16, 2024, After, ********************** paid for 90 days of my car rental. That was expected day the Truck was supposed to be fixed. Well, on June 18, 2024, ******** from Precise Auto called Enterprise Rental and asked them to keep me in the truck for 30 days more. Precise Auto would pay the bill.Enterprise Rental Car, Mr. ****** called me after 30 days to bring the truck back to the company, so I did. I thought my truck was fixed by Precise Collision & Glass, but my truck was not finished. So, ******** from Precise called Enterprise Rental again and asked them to keep me in the truck because my truck was not fixed, and they would be responsible for the rental fee. I am not liable or accountable for $1,236.02 Rental Car Fee for something I did not give permission or approval. Precise Collision & Glass kept my truck from May 16, 2024, to August 31, 2024. I returned the Rental Car on September 3, 2024, because West told me no one will be in to pay the Car Rental Bill. Two things I would like to see that could resolve these problems.1.This is they are responsible to pay this rental fee of $1,236.02 to Enterprise Rental Agreement. This is not my fault.2.Fix my heater on my truck.Customer Answer

Yes, I do have additional information. My Truck was hit on the side of the passage. I needed a new tire. Precise Auto put a use tire on passage side on the truck, but they charge the ***************** for a new tire.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car will tell you who gave the okay for me to stay in the Rental Truck. Enterprise, would tell you the true about the whole issues of the rental fees that Precise Collision & Glass Auto trying to put unauathorized charges on me that giving me hardships, because lack of they of manpower they have at they company. The rental fees Precise Auto chose not to pay was not my responsibility and was not approval by ********** ****. ******* at Precise Auto called, Enterprise to approval the okay for ********** Tate to keep the truck because they was not finished with my truck. Enterprise Rent-A-Car on **************************************, Phone Number is ************ and the saleman is *****.
Enterprise Rental Car deal with Auto, Insurance, and Etc. over the phone by give the customers okay to rent they cars, truck, and they will paid for the rental fees. After 30 days Enterprise call the Companay and said its 30 days you need to bring the car back or sign another contract back again. I'm reviewing all the facts regarding this claim and found more issues which need to be addressed.
I'm asking for a second extension until 12/20/24
I must review more documents, notes and records to make sure Ms. **** gets a fair response from our office. I'm not looking to find excuses to deny the additional help/repair/etc. Ms. **** has been a long-time customer and I'll do what I can to get her a proper responce.Business Response

Our office approved delayed 30 days of rental fees to be paid by Precise Collision & Glass. Our company paid Enterprise Rental for those 30 days as promised. Unfortunately, the vehicle remained at our shop for several more weeks following the completion of the approved repairs due to unforeseen issues. We found additional issues with the repair vehicle which ********************* declined to pay.
One issue was the frame damage. Frame damage was found during the attempt to perform the 4-wheel alignment at the ******** Alignment Shop. For that reason, a full alignment service wasnt possible. Progressive adjuster reviewed the uneven wear to the vehicle tires which would be probably caused by driving the vehicle with a bent frame and loose rear-end suspension items. In addition, the frame shift wouldve happened from the heavier front-end impact, where the initial collision occurred on the passenger side as a T-bone impact to the Cab. I gave as many tips as I could think of to Ms. **** for her to convince ********************* into paying for the additional frame issues, but it wasnt successful. The unevenly worn tires and the point of the frame shift wasnt working in her favor. Our office works for our customers and not insurance companies. We wouldnt say anything to the insurance staff if we think it would hurt our customers claim or wouldnt work in their favor, but those factors wouldnt make Ms. ***** case stronger.
The second issue we couldnt get approval for was the front bumper mounted brush guard. Progressive approved the front bumper damage on the passenger side only. The bumper mounted brush guard is mounted in the center of the bumper with damages that didnt line up to the insurance claim related impact. We informed Ms. **** that we needed her to let us know whether to install the bull-guard as is. It took several weeks for Ms. **** to see and tell us to install it.
While those issues were not being approved by *********************, Ms. **** was trying to have them pay for the additional damage. All this time the vehicle remained on our lot. Therefore, weve covered the rental car fees as promised. We paid $1,714.45 to Enterprise from 06/18/2024 through 07/18/2024 as promised. We wanted to know if Ms. **** wanted the damaged bull-guard installed back on her vehicle or leave it off since it was damaged and unpaid for. We waited several additional weeks for Ms. **** to come in and see the damaged bull-guard to instruct us to whether to have the part installed as is, damaged. All that time her vehicle sat in our backyard completed. The rental vehicle was returned only on 08/31/2024. Therefore, the customer is responsible for additional days from 07/18/2024 through 08/31/2024 in the amount of $1,236.46.
For anything additional regarding the quality of work related to the insurance claim. Were here to help Ms. ***** All we need to do is to make an appointment to have the vehicle dropped off in our shop. Well make sure that the additional repairs are completed if those are OKed by ********************** We could talk to the handling adjuster and would try to convince them to approve the heating issue. Last time Ms. **** complained about the heater not working properly. We used the Vehicle Scanner Tool to reset and relearn the **** system which resulted in the heater working again. Our mechanic said that it looks like the Heater Core, located inside the Dash Panel, is clogged. For more precise diagnostics, the Heater Core must be removed, inspected, and more likely replaced for the heat to work properly. All those additional operations are time-consuming and arent cheap. Im worried that ********************* will see it all as unrelated to the claim or a prior damage to the mechanical/**** components. If that happens, then the cost would fall on the vehicles owner. But we could have our mechanic reset the **** system again and reverse the flow in the Heater Core. Reversing the flow of the Heater Core may help to get rid of the buildup inside the core. But unfortunately, clogged **** components arent usually approved by the insurance companies due to never being related to the vehicle collision damage. We would do as much as possible to assist Ms. **** with that though.
At this moment, Ms. **** could call our office to make an appointment to have the vehicle dropped off to have it checked out and repaired for any issues our tech didnt perform as expected. I feel that my company could make things right to assist Ms. **** with the issues on her Dodge Ram.The only thing I cant help her with is the additional $1,236.46 of the rental car expense.
Thank you.Customer Answer

I am appealing Precise ******** & Glass Letter
My Truck came in for repair because of accident I had on May 16, 2024. My insurance paid for 35 days of Car rental fee by Enterprise Rental Car. Precises Collision want the Insurance to pay for the T-bone impact to the Cab which have nothing to do with the initial ********. The adjusted told them Precises Collision three times that they were not going to pay for some thing not caused by the accident. Precise was looking for more money out of the ****************** I talked with the Insurance Adjusted three or four times and they explained to me what Prcised Collion was trying to do. I called Prcised and said put my grille brush guard back on my Truck. It was no reasoning I need to be there. My Frame damage was not damage. The Guard Grille did not look like it was damage. You can see in the Picture. Precise put a use tire on my truck of the size was damage, my electrical stuff was hanging out the truck. heater was not working, the truck break light was all way on and making noise.I was not satisy with this job at all. They called and gave premises to Enterprise Car Renter to keep me in the truck because they were not finished with my Truck. Please see the pictures that Precision Send me of my Truck. My frame was not damage because I went to Discount Tires and brought 4 New Tires, and they did a wheel aliment. Discount Tires told me my frame was NOT damage. I believe they should pay me the balance of this renter fee that has cause me hardship of $1,236.46.
Precision Collision needs more workers because they cannot handle all the cars they have in the yard.

Sorry for being late in responding back to the previous message. I reviewed this issue and spoke with everyone in my office who was involved in this claim. I dont have the same story regarding the rental car approval. In addition, I personally remember waiting for Ms. **** for approximately two weeks to have come in and tell us about the damaged, front bumper mounted Bull Guard. Progressive denied paying for the replacement and we needed to know if Ms. **** wanted that item installed damaged or to leave it off the vehicle. But Id like to go ahead and have the remaining balance covered with Enterprise Rental for Ms. ***** As I stated previously, Ms. **** is a returning customer, and I truly appreciate all of her business.
Regarding the **** issue (vehicles heat). Before releasing the vehicle to Ms. ***** our tech ran a reset procedure on the **** system which got the heater to work, but unfortunately it was a temporary fix as the heater isnt working again as Ms. **** stated in the previous message. That issue was not approved for repair by ************ The reset/relearn of **** system was something that we did without indicating the operation on the work ******** addition, prior to replying to Ms. ***** BBB complaint, supplement request was sent to Progressive. The supplement was for the **** Heater Core replacement as its clogged. That procedure takes 7 hours of mechanical labor with $388 part and some materials. The denied supplement request amount was $997.60.
I spoke with my tech regarding this issue to see if theres another way to make the heater work again. So, there is a little trick that my tech could do since the supplement was denied. The input and the output of the coolant to the heater core could be reversed, which could or should move some of the buildup inside the core which doesnt let the heat to generate to travel inside the vehicle. Thats something that I could offer to Ms. **** to see if it would help. Unfortunately, ********************* cant relate that issue to the collision damage from the current claim.
At the moment, as Im writing this message, a phone call to Enterprise Rental was made and the remaining balance was covered in amount of $1,236.46. ******** rental balance was paid in full.
Thank you.Business Response

I must be corrected. After speaking with Enterprise, we were told that Ms. **** had paid the bill in the amount of $1,136.02.
We could mail that payment in the form of a check to her address.
Please confirm the address or stop by in person to receive the payment.
Thanks.

I chose to take my car to Precise Collision and Glass on October 23rd, 2023. They told me it would be 3 weeks. My insurance issued their first estimate for $3,466.84. After Precise had my car, found more damage and issued a supplemental estimate of $3,680.51 to which my insurance agreed to pay. Both estimates were for NEW parts to be installed as written out on both documents. On November 15th, I asked for another update on my car. They asked if I could pick it up Friday November 17th. On Friday they asked if I could come Monday the 20th. I came on the 20th around 5pm. It was dark outside so I couldn't see anything wrong & nobody walked over the car with me. The next morning I looked at my car and saw a bunch of mistakes. There was a Lyft ridesharing sticker inside the back window of my car, with adhesive stuck on the outside back window. My left exhaust pipe is sticking out at least an inch longer than the right. It should read "AWD" not "RMD". The liftgate rear glass isn't flush with the frame. My weather seal was sliced at the bottom. The bolts were completely stripped. The bumper is hardly hanging on by just one bracket instead of two. I took it back to the shop later that morning & spoke with the owner ***. He told me the previous manager ordered all used parts, he was embarrassed, and promised to make it right. He said he'd order the parts and get back with me. I called November 29th because I hadn't heard anything, and ******* told me the parts should be there Monday. I got a call shortly after saying it wouldn't be until the middle of January now till the parts came in. She hung up on me when I started voicing my frustrations. I called back twice, asked to speak to ***, and she said he was busy and would have him call me. I still haven't heard anything. This is insurance fraud as my parts shouldn't have been ordered used ever, and very unethical, poor business to give my car back in this condition with no resolution till another month and a half at best.Business Response

I hired Precise Collusion and Glass to repair my car in 2022. The repair work was covered by insurance. My car was recently in another accident and my insurance adjuster said that the majority of the work they paid Precise Collision for has not been done. This is fraud and theft and my car is being delayed repair authorization due to what is being labeled pre-existing or previously paid for repairs that have not been done. My expectation is to be returned the money paid to them by my insurance company so that I can properly get my car repaired and the expectation is that this happens expeditiously or I will be filing a criminal complaint and seeking legal civil action also.Business Response

I didn't respond to the initial complaint due to speaking with Ms. ***** directly.
Our repair shop had the vehicle picked up and towed to our facility last week. We'll be performing repairs related to the current/new claim and will correct the previously repaired area to customer's satisfaction. All of the corrections to the previous claim and repairs to the new claim will be handled at no additional cost to the vehicle owner.
Thank you.
