    Book a trip for camping and had a family emergency come up. I had to call and cancel the trip at that time they said nothing about not getting a refund. I then called and they said that you get no refund even given the circumstance . They didn't offer for a credit for a future stay or anything. They just decided to keep the $350 and then probably proceed to book the site I cancelled. This isn't a family campground it is a greed ran campground.

    Good Afternoon Mr. ******, 

    We understand your frustration, however, in this instance we will note that you booked your own site online. At that time, you agreed to the terms and conditions that included no refunds 14 days prior. We expect that guests have read the agreement and retain their copy when booking their own reservations.  We often make exceptions for rescheduling under extenuating circumstances, especially when our guests take the time to elaborate on what they have going on and what their needs are. If you had done so, we would have looked into opportunities for you. People cancel for a number of reasons both emergent and non emergent and we weigh what they have going on based on the details shared as well as ability to re-book when making exceptions. 

    At this time, we will no longer be discussing or offering any additional opportunities as we also weigh the way our team members are treated via the phone as well as personal attacks made against our family online (posting on numerous review sites, particularly inaccurate information).

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    Your staff never asked what emergent situation I had going on. They simply said we understand we will get it cancelled. I also have not attacked your “family” or talked unprofessional on the phone. I simply said I would contact the bbb which I have along with  reviews on websites that are meant for that purpose. All my information is accurate that has been made. Not have I made any false claims you kept the whole amount and offered no other options.
